I wouldn't want to fall into one of those pools!
The terrain looks cool. The trees are interesting and a bit like the Citidel woods kit trees it seems.

Maybe I can distract them from my own slow progress if I post figures painted by my wife here...My wife painted up a character for our D&D campaign: The figure is Lady Aiyana, from Privateer Press.

So I got a couple more additions to my wood elf army done: A spellweaver on a warhawk: The hawk is a very old Citadel ME84 Great Eagle of the Misty Mountains, which I mounted on a rock and painted literally decades ago. I restored the paint job and then took a Reaper Xiao Liu monk figure, swapped the front part of the staff for something more "wizardy," and mounted her on the eagle. It's a bit rough, but I like to think that she looks as if she's about to jump off, probably because the eagle has been grounded by my Bretonnian opponent using his Falcon Horn of Fredemund... I also painted up a new waystalker: The figure is from Reaper again, a dark elf archer that came from their Bones 5 Kickstarter and hasn't yet been generally released. Recently they've been moving into a more manga look with their figures. I'm not a big fan of elves with oversized ears, but I like the skeptical look on her face.

I like the sceptical Waystalker The spellweaver almost looks like she's in a trance. With that rock the model looks well balanced.

More ladies for my wood elf army: These were kitbashed using the Dark Elf Witches kit as the base, then incorporating bits from the Wild Riders/Sisters of the Thorn, and some random Empire Weapons. The concept for the conversion isn't original to me. At some point I'll expand this to a unit of ten, someday...

Cool conversions - those work really well as Wardancers.

The red haired one on the right still seems like a witch elf to me somehow.... I hope the others keep a watch on her.....she could he a traitor! Very nice conversion work.
