Fantastic work! The paint jobs are so clean and vibrant! Its like a cross between Kev Dallimore's & a comicbook style!
I'm curious what you are using for the basing? I tried something similar with flocks and it came out dull and very flat looking. But yours has a nice layered look and nice colours, without distracting from the paint jobs!

Fantastic work! The paint jobs are so clean and vibrant! Its like a cross between Kev Dallimore's & a comicbook style! Thanks. I purposely try for a comic book style with my color schemes and shading/highlight style. Don't know Kev Dallimore. But a quick google shows some nicely painted models. I'm curious what you are using for the basing? I tried something similar with flocks and it came out dull and very flat looking. But yours has a nice layered look and nice colours, without distracting from the paint jobs! For basing I try to keep it simple. I like the bases to blend in and disappear when placed on the battle field. I use a mix of woodland scenics fine and course flock in multiple shades of green. No static grass. I have a Tupperware container with my flock blend. I wish I wrote down the colors and sizes I used. Hopefully I never run out. To attach the flock I use Vallejo Reflective Green VAL 70890 (it isn't actually reflective, quite matte actually). Just paint it thick all over the base top, dip into my tub of flock, and shake off the excess. Then paint the edge of the base with the same color.

I love your Luminark. Everything on it is perfection, and the lenses are beautiful.

I love your Luminark. Everything on it is perfection, and the lenses are beautiful. Thanks. I remember when the model was release in 2012, I immediately thought, "painting all those lenses will be a b1tch!" I never liked how GW painted the lenses as just glowing circles. The lenses were one of the last things I painted. I was dreading it the whole time. Not sure if I could pull it off. But I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Command group for Empire Handgunner UnitMarksmanIf you can tell me where this guy is from, I'll owe you a crisp high-five. MusicianStandard bearerI'm not 100% happy with the banner. It is a print out of a scan from "Uniforms & Heraldry of the Empire". It is okay for now. But I hope to improve it some time in the future.

The Luminark is a home run. The lenses may have been daunting but your effort was well worth it!
