Final rank of the Halfling militia (Empire Free Company).  Here they are all ranked up. Best thing about halflings is they all fit on their own bases. They don't smash into the guy next them them.  I'm not a big free hand painter. But I'm pleased with how this emblem on the unit champion's shield came out. Just tried to find something characterful and present to look at.  |

The unit looks great, and so does the freehand chicken shield. It feels like that logo should be hanging above a chain of Halfling-owned inns across the Moot.

I’ve just remembered what the chicken shield reminds me of…Brave Sir Robin! Not sure if it’s meant to be any reference to Monty Python but I can’t get the tune out of my head now!

Not a Monty Python reference on purpose. Warhammer Halflings have a thing for chickens. Lumpin Croop's Fighting Cocks are named after chickens. The Halfling standard bearer here has a chicken topper. I just did a google image search for "chicken logo" and found one that would look good and that I would be capable of painting. |

Wow, great work chap, i love how you have done the feathers. Also, that shield free-hand is ace. I'll mimic everyone else here, you've got a great painting style, bright, clean and detailed, well done!
