So let me tell you a little about myself. When I was ten my dad bought me a few models here and there. Over the next 7 years I collected as much empire as my poor little hands could get. At 18 I finally had a job and was able to buy my own! I looked at their site every day reading and re-reading every article with glee! So I tell your all this because I stumbled on an archive site from the early 2000's and wanted to share it with all of you! I hope you enjoy this as much as I have! web.archive.org/web/20050313005819/http://us.games-workshop.com/games/warhammer/default.htm

And in 2015 Games Workshop shit canned everything you loved!
Seriously though, thanks for sharing this. I also have fond memories of these old articles. Remember the Black Gobbo?

Yes, this is awesome. I remember when GW changed their website from this to what it is today. I was so bummed. Today it is just a product sales site, nothing more really. Like you say boda they had awesome articles about tactics, scenarios, painting, army building, scenery and campaign style games! I still remember that they had a series of scenarios that correlated to the war of the beard. I played dwarves and my brother played high elves so we played through some of these. This is the type of stuff that got me excited about the hobby all those years ago and has kept my interest to this day.

I remember when it got posted a year ago on the Empire site, those old Bretonnian jousting tournaments were ace! Monty Python shout-outs for the win!
