I remember first reading about fimir in the storm of magic book and I thought they were really cool. Unfortunately I am not a big of a fan of these sculpts. Just my opinion but they seem too alien like (especially the heads). Makes them seem like something from a tyranid army.

That had been the fimir look forever. They reside predominately dark areas. I don't really think of them a Tyranids like at all. I'd have a hats time accepting them in a 'Nid army.

Oh indeed, those were the good ol' days of dark and twisted lore. When games like DnD were taking big backsteps away from the controversial while GW just went ahead and made things, like the early Mordheim game, whose Satanic-esque imagery would have many moral guardians fainting or bible thumping christians, like myself, crying foul. Anyway, Forgeworld's releasing a exclusive Fimir model. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=505874836275981&id=452117934985005

Oh good, it's not exclusive! It says it's an early release, before available to the general public...

Awesome, thank Baron. This is cool that they are focusing on the Fimir...I'm surprised, I guess their Fimir regiment is selling well??

Probably not. FW has a history of making very poor decisions regarding warhammer fantasy. They had to drop a lot of the old range due to low sales. Some of their model choices have been very strange and the quality was all over the place.

It's probably just their new program to reinvigorate the old franchises like how they're working on Blood Bowl and LotR.
Lady Atia said that chaos dwarfs (Legion of Azhag) and Fimir are going to be their new focus for AoS along with the occasional monster/lord.

I love that Fimir and Chaos Dwarfs are the FW pet projects. I like the sculpt
