Hey all,
My friends are happy for me to use chaos legions from end times in standard games. I will keep to the 25% lords/hero choice and we are not going to roll 4 dice for winds of magic.
My question is about using the magic lores between factions. In this case lore of Nurgle.
If I have a Herald and a chaos sorcerer. Do I roll the spells from their dedicated books? Or is it treated as knowing the same lore? So duplicates can't be taken?
And do I use the different attributes or pick one? So does Herald use the demon book's attribute and chaos sorcerer uses the WoC one?
Thanks

I think you need to house rule it. You are already house ruling which of the End Times rules to use and which to ignore.
I would not allow duplicate spells between DoC and WoC. Each caster would use their own book's lore attribute.

I’d probably do the same. Treat it in the same way as if you had two wizards in a normal army on the same lore. Good call on each using their own attribute thegoat

I agree with thegoat here, they are similar but different at the same time.

RAW they are different faction with their own spells, it's just that their spells just happen to be the same.
That being said, I would think the sensible [fluffy/common sense etc..] this to do is as stated above. i.e. keep the lore attribute but treat each 'wind' of chaos as the same.
