Yeah I can see it now. I damaged the top claw on the banner and assumed it was wood running through it. Makes more sense that it's bone. I guess I will go for the Wyvern wing perhaps with an Evil Sun daubed on it... although the straps attaching the banner will also get in the way of that!

I thought the banner was meant to be a wyvern's wing, which would make it odd that imperial artists had painted their flags onto it? Well, now I've seen it......it seems obvious. I'd never have guessed without your post.

What are the two human parts of the flag btw (I’m not really up on empire heraldry). I think the dwarf part is karak norn

Amazing paint jobs as usual. Such beastly orcs.....will make for good slaves in the Chaos Dwarf mines Talking of slaves, here's the Slave Ogres I put together last night. I had to use my limited green stuffing skills to fashion a ramrod (?) and cast an earthshaker shell using oyumaru. The shell came out a bit wonky but I don't think I can be bothered redoing it. I am trying to get hold of an old necklace chain from my wonderful lady to make some form of shackles or chain to finish the base.

The shell looks fine. It will explode on the enemy all the same.
Nice classic ogres.

So I was pondering what I would do for a Bull Centaur musician and decided I would cast my own bottom half and stick on half a musician. Then I thought I may as well try casting that too. My first go was just a crude oyumaru cast. I'm not sure if its useable with some green stuff repair and paint or if I should try again

That's a good attempt with the Greenstuff.
I certainly wouldn't throw those things away but would probably try making the top bit again and see how it turns out.
Either way that was cool to see.
Did you use blue stuff to make those?

Probably looks a bit worse on these pictures but I think you're right. I might try and cast up another top half and if I still can't manage it I will have to delve back into ebay or see what I can do. Another option would be to cast up a hat and replace that then just repair the rest with some fresh greenstuff and DIY sculpting.
It was just regular greenstuff

I think GMW was asking if you used Blue Stuff to make the mold.
Personally, I think it looks great! Once painted up, it'll be really hard to tell a difference. Good work!

I had some for some scenery bits I cast so gave it a go. It is some weird stuff which melts in hot water, you press what you want into it then pop it in the freezer and it sets hard
