That lance is better cast than the finecast crap my Blood Knights were. ...I have the metal bloodknights. While I'm glad they are metal rather than finecast I think I'm now up to double digits in lance repairs as of their last battle. Horus' greenstuff lance could well end up being the best and least frustrating of the lot!

Clearly it takes a high-end microscope to make such a nice cast. Looking forward to some painted Blood Knights not in a rodeo on bucking broncos!

Got to take your work freebies where you can get them! Went off on a bit of a tangent again and built some more terrain. This time an Idol of Gork/Mork, a Sinister Statue and another hill. Some of these may be able to see use as arcane fulcroms as well as providing the idol for the Idol of Gork campaign

Built Skarbrand, he is quite the big boy. Will be fun hiding him from cannons. I think he might go on a 60 x 100 mm base so I'm currently trawling through base suppliers if anyone has any recommendations? I was surprised at all the left over Bloodthirster parts on the sprue. If I'd known in advance a few green stuff casts would have built a second regular Bloodthirster with some spare wings

Got through the Blood Knights finally after having to take them back off their bases to get them to rank. Should have checked before I started 😩 Just about finished with the other things I've been doing then it's decision time.. finish my last few Chaos Dwarfs to make them fieldable or plough through some Daemons for use in our Tamurkhan campaign..

Wow. Those Blood Knights look incredible! You've certainly done them justice! And that banner! Oh, wow! So much Red Fury in one unit! And you have 10! That's an expensive unit! And not just point-wise! I like the "non-painted" wooden lance shafts too. Feels suitably Undead.
Great work, my friend!

I love this unit so much. Blood Knights done properly. Everything from the banner to the bases is perfect.
As for what next, I'd vote finishing off an army. There's nothing like the satisfaction of completing an army 100%.

Your blood knights look incredible. The paint chipping on the armor...nailed it.

awesome blood knights. as everyone else I am really impressed by the banner. I think there is something good going on with the shields as well but hard to see in the picture due to angle/glare. Want to snap some extra pics? This is not the time to be shy or modest.
