Thanks mate.  I have local (well) Dwarf friend that I will start making some small battles against during 2023.. The name Grimfang Gogulk is old, I used it in 40k first.. But now I will have this new one that started his career iMordheim. I´ll make some fluff as it goes along but he already has a little bit of history from the battles against Undead this summer (Mordheim).. Now there will be raids out of Mordheim as his warband grows - and the targets is some local Dwarf breweries.....  I´ll use some of these dudes in Mordheim too, the Boar boy spears can be decent halberds I think, kinda wanna try those.. First rank done..  Second rank done.. 
There was no lack of shields but lack of arms for them.. I could glue shields to the dagger arms but I did nt.. About half have shields and 75% have spears, that should be okay..
Each and every boy has a little personality to me, after spending time refurbishing and painting them..

Right.. Was unhappy with my Mordheim Shaman... Pose always felt weird and the paint job was the worst of all my Mordheim dudes.. So ripped ´is arms offand he got an IPA bath..  Not sure about the arms yet - and I will make a propa´ staff! I think that could be cool.. And I love that head, my last one of those.. Much better? Atleast on a square base now.. |

Well.. I felt more like doing the characters I have already started so... Started with the skin on Pumba, Timork and the others.
I need to think up some good names for these dudes..

Great progress here, keep it going!
Also very much lloking forward to what 2023 will bring - a Dwarf army is the perfect opponent for some memorable games. Please keep us updated!

Thanks guys. Saw that i had splattered some Khorne Red on his spike on the shoulder - was not intentional, fixed now.. I like that Boss on a pig. Never bought it on release since I thought it looked a bit meh, legs moulded on the pig and the other pieces looked abit bad to me.. But now I like it! Wish I had a couple.. Glad I got to paint it and the BSB now, many years later.. Put the first 30 Night Gobbos, five herders and the other Boss on foot up on the painting table.. |
