Looking good! If you're running short on arms for shields, I simply cut the knives off the left arms and file them down smooth and glue the shields on. Quick, simple fix.

Thanks.  Yeah I thought about it, or just leaving the knives! But i like those arms and it looked as if I had enough shields visible to make it clear.. Thought about hanging a few on the backs of others but did not.. (I have eight left, used nine here, kept them if I could get my hands on another 10-20 Boyz with spears... Hopefully I will.. Started on the first 30 NGs.. I have more bodies but not enough shield arms or bases.. :/ But then I made four Netters and then I could make 6 with spears and shields and I will pick up some Green Stuff World bases so they will be forty soon. Also ordered 10 squigs and 3 River Trolls, hehe.. I really need more boyz but right now I just build an dpaint shit.. It will soon be 1000p then 1200p.. I´ll play some while I try to track down more boyz, a chariot or two, some arty.. |

Thanks man, that helps. I am almost done with 30 Night Gobbos.. Not the highest standard, especially the robes. But alright I think. Also five herders and I have another five on the go plus ten more NGs (incl 4 Netters) Will pick up those next 10 squigs, hopefully next week along with three River Trolls. And - I have the body and legs for a fourth, maybe I get enough spare heads and arms for him in that box??  Forgot I have a box of Black orcs too. But I ruined a couple of bodies for Mordheim (nicking daggers etc). Should be ten of them. For smaller games, I can assemble them and play with ten.. Until I get another box.. Will probably strip my 4 Orc henchmen and 2 Young ´uns for Mordheim and boost the unit I have.. But I really need to get some spears otherwise half the unit is soon 2 choppas.. |

Glad surprise - I switched some stuff with a buddy on an aircraft modelling forums. Offered some decals i thought he could use and then asked if he had any spare Orc/Ork bitz (knew he built some GW stuff). he sent me a surprise package - ie stuff he thought I could use. This is a small part but that really helps!  Those three spears means I can replace the three twin-choppa dudes in my mob. AND - start a new mob with those as a basis. I ripped the bases off six Mordheim Henchmen Orcs to go with them (I could imrove the opainting). And the banner there will be very useful! That attack squig, I think it is from the Goblin Runtherd, I will have to use it for something cool!
I also got some of the Orc warrior heads from WFB that I was basically out of - that will help as I use 40k orks to mix in and get more out of the dwindling spares.. Those heads helps alot! Especially my fav one, the leather cap, the pointy one.  |

Painted up the first five herders. One actual herder and some spares.. Like the Bigboss and my converted Shaman. But that is okay! Plenty more where they come from.. Not the best paintjob but it looks alright at a distance, the teef are not as bad and there is highlights on the robes. They´ll do behind the squigs on the tabletop..    I managed to destroy the body of the herder with the mushroom on the sprue so converted this one from his staff and a spear night goblin.. Can´t rank up but otherwise ok..  Moved the three two-cjoppa Orcs out of that spear-mob.. They will form the new 12-orc-strong 8as that is what i have now) mob with two choppas and I will paint up three with those spears I got. |

Thanks. The original one is not bad but I was glad i salvaged this part, hehe. Dunno how I managed to destroy him.. But I´ll get another box doon and then a third so.. He is called "matt" or "Matte" after a buddy 8the one who gave me the bitz) since he said "fungus ona stick" is something his ex would call him........ So Matt/Matte it is! |

Been painting on my Black orc warboss as well.. With the parrot-squig, hehe.. His arms are pretty close to being done.. And a few stripped 40k Orks, a couple used for Mordheim, a few others used for Shadow War Armageddon as Kommandos, got stripped and now have those three spears. The rest are with two chopas (nine). Two will get shields, the third a dagger, which is fine. More shields in the mob yet one with a dagger is not a huge problem. The Blorc will get a bow.. as he might go into Mordheim and my other boss has a crossbow.. Got one of those bows so might as well! And the two quivers will go with the Big ´uns (their crossbows keep falling off! Might as well just blu tac them now). They were the only ones without quivers so that is perfect!  |

So tempted to make a Bigboss, mayeb Savage Orc (was paint) based on this.. Need to find som cool bitz and practice that war paint..  Conork? Sculpt a hair squig/long hair too? Hehe.

it is tricky to get good photos here, dark.. And I have shitty lights and just an old iPhone.. But the NGs are on their way. Just Whaagh Flesh on the skin so need that Warboss Green and some Skarsnik Green to make them lighter than the ´arder Orcs!   Then some tufts.. And I have another ten on the go, inl four Netters. I´ll do them ASAP. After that, replace the three filler Orcs with two choppas at the back of the first mob with these:  And then add those three to the stripped Mordheim Orcs and a couple of rebuilt Kommandos I also stripped:  I´ll add to both mobs when i can - I need to get bitz though.. And apart from that I have 10 squigs coming in, 3 River Trolls (Ihave a fourth without arms and a head I hope I can build too from the spare bitz!), 10 Spider Riders plus a Bigboss on a spider and finally 10-12 Black orcs. I just need to get bases.. They are quite expensive though which pisses me off a bit.. |

Thanks mate, most of those two-choppa Orcs were my Mordheim henchmen. I did not have much WFB Orc bitz when i did them.. Repainted the rims of the Mordheim warband´s and the WFB models from Mournfang Brown to Steel Legion Drab. I did not have the paint and have forgotten to buy so went with MB.. But I used to use Graveyard Earth back in the days, the old name for SLD and I like it more..  New on the right. I think Pumba´s (or is it Timorg´s??) pile looks better against it too I think..    30 Night Goblins pretty much done, I´ll add ten more very soon, incl 4 Betters. The phots aren´t good, I´ll try in daylight some day.. They look worse than in real life even though I pretty much speed painted them.. |
