Do you guys think the Lord-Celestant on the "battle-cat" from the AOS box set should be a monster or monstrous cav?

Monstrous Cav. It's about the size of a Demigrpyph. Monster would hardly be off either though.

Monstrous cav. It is smaller than most of the existing monster mounts.

At first glance, I'd say Mostrous Cav. if the rules fit it appropriately. But saying that, the IoB did have a character riding a griffon. What did that class as? I'd say it should probably follow suit.

If we judge on how AOS rules work, monster models such a Griffons and Hippogryphs have 10-13 Wounds and a chart that describes how they are weakened. While the Dracoth (battle-cat) has wounds akin to a normal hero on mount and no monster-like table.
I think I'm going with Monstrous Cav...

Does he come partially attached to this Battle Cat or separately? If separate, you could always put him on a Griffon. I think he'd look rather cool up there.

All of the new stuff is very dynamic...but so dynamic that there's no room for conversion of kit swapping.
