Woot! Got in first this month. I'm hoping to paint the last four figures of my Warcry warband, and maybe a marine or two, but March is going to be busy, so we'll see...

More Ogres I guess: March has five weeks, so five Ogres are one of my goals.
I would also love to finish another five Gnoblars, that way I would get a unit of ten (i.e. game legal).
Another thing I want to get done this month: a character model.
If I get all of that done I would have a game legal army, and with the amount of painted models by this months end it would not even be that small.

I failed to complete anything in February. My wife seems to think that it's acceptable to drag me out at weekends to do things, rather than letting me sit hermit-like in my hobby room painting all day.
However, despite my hardships, I have almost managed to complete last month's pledge - 20 Eternal Guard plus Araloth, so they will become part of March's goal.
I also intend to paint 10 Chaos Forsaken (5 Slaanesh, 5 Tzeentch) and hopefully something more than that.

I am sitting at +7 models for March so far, with two Ogres and five Gnoblars. The latter providing another small (but legal) unit.
Also randomly put some last brush strokes on a Varghulf and managed to varnish it. Some grass on the base and it will be ready!

I can hardly imagine the horrors you had to endure! Call the UN, or something!
Thumbs up for getting stuff done anyway!

She's usually very tolerant and supportive of my hobby, so I can't complain much, particularly as she's bought me lots of the models I own. I finally managed to secure some "just leave me alone in my room" time, and got my Eternal Guard finished, plus Araloth:

I have ten collecting dust until fate puts some more in my lap. how many more do I need at say 1500pts?

You're paying for their spears and Forest Stalker rules, which let you fight in 4 ranks in a forest. Though I guess people field Glade Guard in units of 10, wasting their Forest Stalker rule - but they're a throwaway-ish ranged unit rather than a combat block. If a lumberjack has cut down all the trees on your battlefield, then 15 makes more sense.

Missed the start again! I pledge to try and clear off some of the character models that have been clogging my board for months, finish building the rest of my Mordheim buildings (spoiler, finished last week) and paint some flagellants.

For me, from assembly to complete, an Idol of Gork And raise the painting standard on 10 savage orcs, 5 Squig hoppers And 100 night goblins Progress report: 104 night goblins (71 and 33) 5 Squig hoppers 11 savage orcs 1 bonus Squig. Time to undercoat the Idol. Unsure if to do in sub-assembly, or fully made up...

None of my paint jobs will win any awards, but I do like raising the standard of my old paint jobs. I'm really really good at speed painting batches, in that I have the patience to do it for hours. What helps is a high tolerance for imperfection. Something about the horde army as well... No one is going to pick up an individual night goblin out of the thousands to marvel at it in the way they might a knight. My "prettier" collections of high elves, dark elves and Bretonnians cause me more shame as i "can't do them justice" with my rough jobs The part I'm most enjoying is painting rust on my weapons. For too long my lads were too clean.
