Hi,
Few questions about difficult terrain and characters:
If a character mounted on a monster enter a terrain that force them to test for difficult terrain, do both the character needs to test and the mount as well ? Or do we test only for the mount ? Or only once and then roll to see who is taking the wound like for shooting attack ?
- If a character on chariot must do a difficult terrain, same question as above, we roll 2 dice, one for the crew and chariot and one for the character ? Does the character suffer 1d6 wounds if he fails ?
- And about forest and character on flying monster, as it’s technically only the mount that have flying special trait, does it means that the mount only must do the difficult terrain test for ending move in a forest ?
Thanks for your clarification !

I'll start with the last question, which seems pretty straightforward. As you indicate, it is the mount that has the Fly special rule and "special rules that apply to a ridden monster do not normally also apply to character riding it and vice versa." Hence, only the mount should test. The other question is not covered by the rules, and there are two possible options: 1. Taking the rules for shooting at and hitting a ridden monster as precedent, you test only once and distribute the Wounds like hits for shooting. 2. Taking the movement rules (and the Fly special rule above) as precedent, you test only once and the mount takes any Wounds. This would also be in line with the 7th edition BRB, which specifically stated that characters were not affected. So, it is best to discuss this beforehand with your opponent. Here is one we prepared earlier.
