Any ideas on potentual pricing for these launch boxes yet? I'm guessing in the £150 range 155 pounds for the Bretonnian 175 pounds for the Tomb Kings box. Ok, so a pre-order Tomb Kings box on the 6th Jan from GW store is likely to be £175?

I have a question. Since I would like to buy 3 boxes in total of these launch boxes, but I dont know, if I can secure them from GW, or take the routk either from my FLGS or Wayland Games can they provide it via pre-order? These are my first boxes, that I would like buy before the seperate kits hit the shelfs. You know, it might be in your best interest to go all 3 routes. That way, it'd increase your odds of getting at least one if they sell out quickly. It's a hassle, I know, but if you can place your order ahead of time with two of them, then order from GW website, day of, then your odds go way up. I placed an order for one of the recent sets (I forget the name) with Frontline Gaming, and they notified me about a week after the game had sold out, that they couldn't fulfill my order and refunded my money. Last time I did business with them.

Any update on scarcity? As in are the starter boxes a limited release like indomitus? GW have been very quiet on this front. Also any AUD pricing yet (I assume an ~50% mark up on the UK equiv pricing)?

Will be interesting to ask flgs how well ToW does sales wise (after initial hype) relative to other warhammer systems. I expected the starter sets to sell out, but surprised how quick the old metal&resin sets sold out (given their price). Despite still disliking aos and wanting confirmation fantasy is better, I am more concerned of viability of ToW going forward (and take the early out of stock signs as good news).

Having all the metal and resin kits direct only is a really dumb decision. Yes you can make a legal army with plastic heroes and plastic core available in the stores. But the game is dull without special and rare choices. With the majority of those units locked behind the direct only wall, it will keep a lot of potential players away. I thought the whole point of launching with only two factions was to allow the full product line for those factions to be sold in stores. Then over time they would rotate all different factions in and out of the range to give people access to all the different models. Clearly I was wrong.

Anyone seen any of these up close yet? Saying that - most of the models are old aren't they...
