Another entry in the annals of "Sedge cannot stop himself from collecting every army". I've picked up quite a few Lizardmen models over the years, but not yet enough for a full army, and I hadn't got around to painting any. With the new AoS Lizardmen releases including Saurus Warriors that actually look good, I'm hoping to pick up the last few bits I need to field a proper army. I'd pledged to make a start on my Lizardmen this year, and Kroxigor seemed the easiest place to start. I've got both the old and new ones, and they're in a completely different league from one another. Old Goofigors: New Bossigors kit: I used the "Warpspawned" crocodilian heads for these, as they're much more fitting with the Kroxigor image than the beaky regular ones. I'm pleased with how they came out, though in hindsigt a little more contrast on the stone and metal would have helped.

Amazing job as always Sedge. Do you have any shots of all 6 together? I’m curious about the size comparison

These are some fine models, skilfully painted! It would be well worth seeing all together in one shot. I particularly like the way you rendered the green stone (jade? malachite?) in the weapons.

Amazing job as always Sedge. Do you have any shots of all 6 together? I’m curious about the size comparison This hopefully shows the size difference: I'm assembling some of the new Cold Old Knights (Aggradon Lancers) too, which are monstrous cavalry sized - they're as chunky as Demigryphs. The new Saurus on the left is only temporarily on the 25mm base - his feet barely fit on it, and there's no chance they'd rank up. I think even the new 30mm squares will be tough to rank them up on. Thankfully, the new Krozigors are absolutely fine on 40mm squares.

And the Aggradon Riders: If you're thinking of getting them to use as Cold One Riders, don't! They won't even fit on the new TOW 60 x 30mm bases. They're monstrous cavalry sized - chunkier than Demigryphs. But if you're thinking of getting them because they're awesome models, do! They're absolutely what Cold Ones should look like.

Looking great so far! You inability to resist collecting more armies is our gain.
