Another Warhammer Quest coming, and it's also a standalone game...

I have the first one and it's really great we may get this but I have to finish painting the first set first!

Definitely glad they are doing another Warhammer Quest though. From the box art I don't see any new sculpts but I'm expecting it to be good value and it looks like Acolytes are in again which is great.

Well there are nurgle warriors in the lower left corner those would be new sculpts. Also high elf sorcerer on the right, dwarf and some kind of dark elf warrior with a shield on the lft. Event the stormcast is different.

Event the stormcast is different. Those are all existing sculpts already released depicted in the art. If I'm wrong and they are new minis I will be happy but the cover art only shows already released models. The Nurgle warriors are blight kings, the high elf is a loremaster, the dwarf is the new Burlockson, the Dark elf is a fleetmaster, khorne guy is a slaughter priest and the Stormcast is the Lord Castellant holding the lantern with his loyal gyrphhound right at the front in the box art.

I'd really like to try out these new Warhammer Quest games. But priorities are tough right now and I just can't commit to more painting projects!

Well I was 100% about their being no new sculpts in the box as Bols has unboxed the new set. Every hero is as I described (cogsmith is the AOS name for Grim Burlockson) however despite the great weapon armed Slaughter priest being depicted on the cover art Bols makes no mention of him or a Khorne hero being included which is a shame. Hopefully that is just an oversight on their part. I'm guessing the Kairic Acolytes are half of the new plastic box set and multipart but overall I'm very disappointed with the minis contained within. I was hoping for something new.... Anything! Oh well. It's still going to be good value for GW standards if you want the majority of the minis. I like the look of the board tiles more than the silver tower ones.. Miniwise I only really want the Acolytes, lord Castellant and gryphhound so the box isn't worth it for me. www.belloflostsouls.net/2017/02/shadows-over-hammerhal-unboxed.htmlI've still got a lot of playing left in Silver Tower but eventually once I've got all the Silver Tower shards I can hopefully track down just the game components of Hammerhall. There was a lot less effort that went into this release compared with Silver Tower but a new quest is still welcome. Overall disappointed but with the Tzeentchian release I'm spoiled for new potential minis anyway.

Thanks for the link. That was quite informative. I'm glad the enemies still have an AI behaviour table. Mixed feelings about a GM being required. I wish they would have thrown Slambo in there as an Ogroid level boss! That would have made the box much more enticing.
