Pre ordered Raveging Forces of Fantasy Hordes and the Bretonian Box at my FLGS. As of today it did not arrive. I got a copy of the TOW Rulebook from a online second hand store, which arrived yesterday at my door.

After nearly a week I've been notified that some new bases I ordered have been shipped. Still no sign of my box set & rule books

As of January 25th, my FLGS has not received a large portion of their preorder stock. They have a few things in stock at the store, including a Bretonnia core set and some Journals, but my books have not arrived yet.

Finally got a (UPS) shipping notification for my GW direct pre-order. No communication from GW themselves. Estimated delivery is next Wednesday. Only eleven days past the product launch date.

Still waiting on ours from GW... I sense a phone call coming on Same except I called yesterday... asked them why my pre-order hasn't been delivered, but there's orders on shelves. They told me the point of a pre-order is to guarantee the stock. Except its out of stock & hadn't been shipped yet

I finally received an email middle of this week telling me the metal lich priest was out of stock (out of about 20 items in my order). They could refund it and send the rest of the order out or I could wait, they estimated stock would be back early Feb.
I asked to refund it, he will be available to buy again soon and it stops other items being oversold as they've done with my orders in the past.
Its now the weekend and the rest of the order still hasn't been sent and the refund for the model still hasn't been done.
I fully expect them to contact again next week and tell me the books and cards are out of stock now as well.
How a multimillion pound company is allowed to take pre-orders, over sell stock and then not refund instantly still baffles me.

How a multimillion pound company is allowed to take pre-orders, over sell stock and then not refund instantly still baffles me. I'm with you 100%. The entire point of a pre-order is that if the company accepted your order, you are guaranteed to receive the product. And it should be received on release day too. A few decades back I worked at Electronics Boutique (one of the videogame retailers that merged to form gamestop). We of course took pre-orders for upcoming games. We claimed a $5 deposit guaranteed a copy on release day. The reality was there was absolutely nothing behind that guarantee. We often had too many pre-orders for the stock we received. There was no recourse for the customer except getting their deposit back after filling out a lengthy form. I guess I was a naive child to think a company would make an effort to serve their customers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Really good store in its heyday I have to say GW I believe to have just about the worst customer service I've ever seen, of any company ever. Just below utility companies, banks & delivery services. They seem to have an air of "you're lucky to be able to buy our products" about them.. I think they're forgetting that 'other resin-printers are available!'

Well, I just received my order from GW this afternoon. I ordered a Bret box, both Arcane Journals, and the Forces of Fantasy books. Everything (so far - haven't combed over all the sprues yet) was in good order.
I also had a second order with a 3rd party (Flipside Gaming), who, told me last week that they haven't gotten anything from GW yet, but as soon as they do, they'll let me know it's on its way. I'm not holding my breath for that one.
