Hello EEFLers!
Here is another army list I have had in the pipeline for a fairly long time - Warhammer Gnomes, and, with GW's recent Gnome-themed releases, I have been inspired to finish it at last.
Gnomes are something of a curio in the Warhammer Fantasy world - they were featured as a playable race in the very early editions of the game, when it tried to include as many playable races as possible with very fast and loose restrictions for allying them with each other, but when 4th Edition arrived, and GW decided to crack down upon this and trim down the race options into a much smaller number of fixed army books for specific factions, the Gnomes were one of the many weird and wonderful things that sadly failed to make the cut. Yet this was not to be the end of their story, for a decade or so later Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay had the bright idea of bringing them back as an existent race, though this was still not enough to convince GW to return them to the proper Warhammer game. And for a long time this is where the Gnomes have remained - as a race lingering quite literally in the shadows, both in the Warhammer world, and not in the world of the game itself. But for no longer! Having read through every scrap of Warhammer lore on Gnomes I could get my hands on free of charge, I have compiled this fun army list, so that those who have always dreamed of having a race of little-folk that are more whimsical, tricksy, even sinister, than the gluttonous Halflings can now make these dreams a reality!
The list was inspired by several key sources - the Warhammer Fantasy Wikia page on Gnomes, a Gnome army list devised way back in the 3rd Edition era (possibly from a White Dwarf), the Mantic Halfling range (which I've always thought would look better as Gnomes, especially as they're devoid of big flat furry feet) and, most recently, the Blood Bowl team. Hopefully these will be of equal inspiration to you, fellow Gnome fans.

As with all my other Warhammer army lists, I have aimed to keep this one as balanced as possible, but the whole point of this first draft is to gain feedback from theoryhammerers and playtesters alike, so I'd love for as many of you to have a butcher's at it, and even have a game with it if you wish, as possible, and any constructive feedback would be much appreciated!
