Hey All, I am creating this thread as a place to ask and answer questions about Chaos. Specifically, the combined Legions rules from END TIMES: GLOTTKIN. I, of course, am easily confused and need a place to keep track of what rulings we use in EEFL games, campaigns, tournaments, etc. And (as of this moment) I do not have the Glottkin Book nor do I have $100 to purchase one.

Q1). I have a unit of Gors. They are armed with a hand weapon and shield. This gives them a parry save of 6+. I give this whole unit of Beastmen the Mark of Tzeentch. Does their parry save now increase to 5+? I think this boils down to exact wording, does PARRY = WARD and WARD = PARRY.

wilsonthenarc, Legions of Chaos is a completely legit army list. Keep in my some of the overall army special rules for Legions are different from the separate Chaos army books. You really need a copy of Legions of Chaos in order to play it correctly. Regarding parry save, yes. A parry save is a normal 6+ ward save, so the mark of Tzeentch increases it to 5+.

Well tapatalk isn't working properly right now, it keeps saying failed to connect error for this forum.
Anyways the answer is yes ward=parry and parry=ward.
Page 88 in brb states a parry save is a 6+ ward save.
Also I have glottkin as pdf, it's written and worded just like in the WoC and DoC army books.

There is also the rules for The Great Host of Chaos in Tamurkhan if combined Chaos lists is your thing. Give me a shout if anyone is interested in these, they look quite fun. I would like to play through the Tamurkhan campaign at some point, will probably wait until my Chaos Dwarfs are done for that segment though. In the Legions list there are a few other rules such as Eye of Gods for Beastmen and the rest I assume are the same as the Beastmen book but I'm not familiar with it

Honestly, I just want a Giant Bird-Man Beast Monster of a Demon Prince to lead an army of Bird-Beast-Men to battle. The exact rules pack doesn't matter as much to me. Evil Tengu Warlord must lead rank & file goat boys.
Why would Minotaurs need or want the Mark of Tzeentch? They wouldn't. Yet, I am flushing points directly down the toilet. In the name of the schemes of Tzeentch.
I need to get you guys some pics this week. Been painting, been assembling, lots of feathers and lots of horns.

I actually like the mark of Tzeentch for Minotaurs as it gives them an unaltered save. KevinC made a cool add-on for Tzeentch beastmen in his post about the Ogroid Thurmaturge/Tzaanbull shaman.
