How often do you guys get to play?
Was just wondering. Do you guys get together a lot? You have a set schedule for it? Like a regular basis?

I play a game only after I finish painting a unit, that is at least once in two weeks or in some cases, once in two months

Theoretically once a month. In practice 10 games a year

Typically, I like long days (or, even better, mini weekends) where I can jam like 3 or 4 games into one 24-hour period. That averages out, for me, to about 25 games a year. So, on average, every other week.
I am not a competitive WAAC dudeman, but... I love Tournaments because I am guaranteed 5 games in a 2-day span, which I can dig on. Even if I went 0 for 5 in the W/L column, that's a solid chunk of gaming for anybody!

Back when I was in St. Louis, it was weekly at Game Night.
Now that I'm stranded in the middle of nowhere, 75 miles from the closest game store (which doesn't even have wargaming tables), I haven't gotten a game in three years. Sigh.

Probably about once every other month. I am hoping to get 2 games in this month, it really just depends how the stars align in terms of my Mrs & the kids. Need to decide who I am going to play as for next Saturdays game

This is absolutely the way I've approached it for years. vulcan I think find yourself a tournament is the best way to approach it. Come to Da Boyz this year and first beer is on me. I know this is EEFL but I'll say you can check out the 9th Age forums - they are ALL 8th ed guys at heart and if you can find one of them in your area you will find someone who will play something or another with you. 9th historically was pretty much 8th (I haven't played since their last big rewrite) you didn't really need to know much about the 9th rules to play. Or they may play 8th just to get a game in.

99,99% of us would probably never get a game of 8th edition against each other. SAD!

As far as T9A goes, I was VERY active on their forums going back to when they were on The Warhammer Forum. Then somewhere along the line, T9A decided to become NotHammer instead of NextHammer... and thoroughly crushed my interest in them and their game.
