Moved some stuff to my new place and remebered these 8th Edition prints I got. I will reframe them for their new setting (before i had them all chilling on the top shelf of my miniatures cabinet above their respective army). I really wish I had been able to get a print for every army I own but they were all snatched up super quickly but I'm glad I was able to get these. Anyone else care to share some Warhammer art?

Nice stuff man! They look awesome. One of my favorites: I love the early lore of the setting. My friend and I have had many a "War of the Beard" themed battles. - +25 more magic items/runes for heroes/50 for lords. No gunpower but no flying for HE.

I really have a special place in my heart for the late 90's Chaos Dwarf Art. It isn't so much "Good", as in highly skilled... but F'n A it is cool and unique and memorable and eye catching. They were my first army. That army book is the one that "Sold" me on the hobby. Everything from the cover, to the sorcerers, to the Blunderbusses (Blunderbi?) to the Monsters and fluff. I can't find the picture right now, but I did have a special obsession with the BULL CENTAUR art. Those first gen metal bull centaurs that went on 25mm x 50mm cavalry bases. Great minis. And there is some art out there of the Centaurs rearing & charging and so forth. I'll grab my copy of the book and scan it later this week.

I agree, I always loved the Chaos Dwarfs and all their art, models and just general look. I never collected them back in the day because one of my friends did but a few years back I figured I would just go for it and dived into the ebay madness. he Chaos Dwarf forums proved an excellent source of the models for me. The Bull Centaurs above are one of my favourite all time models, along with the Earthshaker Cannons. I have a big unit of them & 2 Earthshakers to paint I just need to get around to them
If you mean the art from the 5th book I know exactly the image you mean. That book is a treasure trove of Mark Gibbons awesomeness. Myself and my bro always used to go on about the awesome MG artwork before we knew what he was called. His stuff was just the best in every book

I never collected them back in the day because one of my friends did but a few years back I figured I would just go for it and dived into the ebay madness. I did. I traded them for dwarfs. Regular dwarfs. Circa 1999. #Regrets #MegaRegrets #SuperRegrets #RegrettonianKnights #HanselandREGRETel I mean, it was a good trade at the time. About $170 worth of Chaos Dwarfs, all metal and all big-hatted for about $200 in metal Dwarfs. I got the "Better" deal. But my dwarfs sit on their shelf. Painted and unplayed. I'd like to think the Twirly Beards would get some use. Oh well. I shall see what other good art I can scan out of that book to share.

Metal Dwarfs from that era are also awesome and have their own awesome MG art to go with them! Get them painted

Some great art posted in here. I likewise love the goofy Chaos Dwarf art.
All of the little coloured illustrations in I believe the 5th army book were great.

Speaking of 5th the rulebook had a ton of great stuff! Yes, that's exactly what i meant. Thanks for posting that. Meant the 5th rulebook not army book. Those little pictures were very characterful and did a great job of sucking me into the Warhammer World in my youth.
