Sorry to spam the forum but I figured this campaign was different enough to warrant a separate thread. Pirate Princes of Sartosa is a warbands campaign that can be played escalation style and includes some mechanics that are a little more boardgame-esque, having players move around Sartosa by land and sea as a pirate crew, exploring specific locations, and obtaining quests while recruiting unique Special Characters. I've always found small points games super fun and useful for quick games, teaching others to play, and building up armies as a play group finds time to buy and assemble models. I wanted to make a campaign pack that would be perfect for this and serve as an introduction to narrative campaigns. A few years after finishing up Conquest of Lustria, I was able to devote time to fleshing out my notes on Pirate Princes, finally finishing it last year just in time to see GW abandon 8th edition entirely. It was supposed to be a "smaller" campaign, and in terms of gameplay, it is, but the quest system ended up requiring a ton of creative writing and so the Pirate Princes book ended up twice as big as Lustria. ^__^;; You can browse through the campaign in book form hereDownload the PDF hereHere is the combined two-page spread of the campaign map:

Fabulous, this took some time to make! Thanks for taking a look! Indeed, Pirate Princes and Lustria both took a long time to make and were both done during bouts of unemployment from the gaming industry, which has little job security. I ended up with a ton of notes for different campaigns but it's pretty rare for players to be interested in anything besides official Games Workshop supplements (unlike say, the RPG community), so I made just the two and I'm very pleased with how both came out. Any comments are appreciated if you get a chance to read through either of the campaigns. =)

Follow up: you are a skilled document creator. Your PDF is attractive, fun, and clean yet tight. Well done. You working in InDesign? Even on pages 20, 21, 22, etc. all the images are perfectly cleaned and the transparencies are expert level.
Seeing this on my desktop. I am impressed. I sat and drooled at page 42 for a full minute.
Impressed enough to creep to your website and I found another PDF, The Conquest of Lustria. I'll read that one tomorrow. Welcome to our forum!!!

Pirate Princes of Sartosa is a prequel to Conquest of Lustria, and there's a thread for Lustria on the forums here - eefl.freeforums.net/thread/431/conquest-lustria-complete-bulilding-campaignThe awesome mini on page 42 is by Joe Rodgers from the Pointhammered podcast, he gave me permission to use it =)

I just downloaded; will have a look later Campaigns make me sad. I always want to play them but my group consists of 2 people right now Both of the campaigns I've made are perfectly fine for two people to play! Conquest of Lustria is probably best with four so you can get your elbows in instead of comfortably expanding, but two could play it, especially if you made your own smaller map. Campaign it up!
