Also, I was there man. I seen it! 'Twas Epic. This was in my Top 5 lifetime of Siege games. The dismounted cavalry pushing the 3-story tower. The multiple giants. The multiple Giant Spiders. What more could you want? I seem to remember a drunken giant assaulting the wall, smashing, but then dying from Dwarf axes. A drunken giant still falls, and he fell into the wall. The pics came out great - this was a WIN for coolness no matter who actually won the battle. dannytee and I won the battle...it mattered very much. --------Indeed. Considering that I spent a lot of gold on this battle and that the Fleabags were completely destroyed, this is probably the most significant loss I've suffered throughout the entire campaign! Grom may have visit the Celestial Bank of Nippon...

I have many more and will try to get them up here tonight. I haven't been on in about two weeks. Our get together two weeks ago took up that weekend and then last weekend with the memorial day holiday we had several parties/family events so didn't find time to get on here either. So I am still catching up on all the activity here.

You might like Skarsnik better, but going by historical facts, Grom is indeed the greatest Goblin King of all time...perhaps the greatest of all Orc & Goblins warlords. This is because he basically conquered the Old World before sailing off to Ulthuan. He even captured the city of Middenheim - which is the most impregnable fortress of the known world (only Archaon also accomplished this in the End Times). Skarsnik merely held Karak Eight Peaks, which the greenskins had held for years before him, though expanded his control and subjugated all the surrounding Orc & Goblin tribes. In the end though, the Skaven killed Gobbla and ousted Skarsnik. As for Stannis, he is the One True King!

Don't just talk the talk! There is only one way to settle this and crown the Goblin king: An ahistorical grudge match! (make sure to take lots of pictures)

Not disputing Grom's greatness but I'm a Skarsnik fanboy so he'll always be number 1 for me. Regarding the End Times... I see the Warhammer Fantasy setting as being locked basically at the start of Archaon's invasion and everything after that as a hypothetical....like Storm of Chaos and Nemisis Crown before it..... Basically in my WFB setting there is still a 3 way battle going on at Karak Eight Peaks and Gobbla is still happily nomming skaven and dwarfs As for Archaon... well he hasn't captured Middenheim yet (and possibly won't) so Grom is far greater that that 3 eyed fool....and will always be so Skarsnik is more of a 'Mork' whereas Grom was more orcy and 'Gork' if that makes sense. There are some seers who forttell of a dark and crazy time where Tyrion of the High Elves would become a necromancer and raise skeletons and the End of the World would come........... Witch Hunters are torturing these heretical lunatics as we speak.... Maud... the one true king

(make sure to take lots of pictures) When I eventually paint my Grom I'm going to do it! Btw KevinC I readily admit my Skarsnik bias! Goblins don't care much for objectivity. Ive actually already done two time bending battle with a double Skarsnik and Gobbla (the new and oop models) combining in a time paradox to defeat a Chaos Alliance and a Von Carstein vampire force led by Vlad and Konrad.
