I know that there is something else out there that is on 40mm and nor monstrous. I've faced it, I just don't remember what it is. the new BlightKings of Nurgle?

Just an idea, but what if instead of “Sigmar’s Justice”, your unit of Stormcast Eternals got some “Lore of Heavens” sauce applied to them? They are (supposedly) based out of the realm of Azyr, Wind of Heavens. On theme so far?
Level 1 spell from Heavens: Harmonic Convergence. This spell makes the target unit reroll 1s for To Hit, To Wound, and Armour Saves. Either built in as a special rule (OP), or give any unit of Stormcast Eternals Harmonic Convergence as a bound spell, similar to Doomfire Warlocks.

for reference... Putrid BlightKings got EOT rules, here’s the Stat Line M4, WS6, BS3, S4, T5, 3W, I5, 3A, LD8
40 points per model!!?? Not to say all EOT point values are fair, but damn.
And the 40 points includes Mark of Nurgle, plus an ability to choose modular weapons for each combat (but not each round, I think). they can choose great weapon, or 2 hand weapons, or hand weapon and shield. If these guys get 3W I suppose Sigmar's big dudes can too.
Earlier beef - withdrawn.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the comments, especially wilsonthearc! Points values can seem strange and that's why is best to test them out on the battlefield. As much as the Stormcast units might seem really strong, I think they will run into problems especially if not used properly.
wilson, I love the lore of heavens idea, I'll look into doing something like this...
Please, someone try them out in a game...

We need rules for the 2 characters so that we can play these guys as an army next week.

I get on that soon. Been swamped at work. Bretonnian list coming soon too...
I recommend playing the Stromcast as Empires allies for now, btw. Just give the units some action....

Don't let jerkface dictate to you. In fact, you should ignore him and work on some on the Brettonian list.

Random thoughts... I did some forum snooping on the Putrid Blight Kings. Apparently, they rock and their biggest drawback is being REGULAR infantry. This (and points of 40) impacts ranks and model counts, and the known weakness of Blight Kings is that they lose steadfast quickly. They can be broken in combat. Giving your Eternals stubborn covers up this weakness. They still cost 55/ea, but they are unlikely to flee - Esp w. a General or BSB around. I'd love to play my Warriors of Chaos versus an Empire army with Eternals as Core this weekend. I'd say 2500 points as a testing ground.
Also... RE: Warriors of Chaos Slaanesh got NERF'ed. Straight up Nerfberger'd.

Blight Kings and the newer Khorne unit are on 40mm bases. They get 1 supporting attack because they are not Monstrous Infantry.

Question. Instead of making this one unit for empire to use should we maybe do all the unit, in time of corse, as it's own separate army? Or maybe a "dog's of war" type situation?

I think what you propose is the plan. Kevin is just doing them as they come. At the moment there are not enough units to work with for their own army.

Yes, the plan is an allied contingent of sorts for the Enpire and also a full army list.

Agreed. The shooty guys look cool and, I hate to say it, these minis are growing on me since I painted one. Looking forward to a, maybe, 1500ish point army right out of the starter box.

A ward save all around with an armor save of 4 is quite over powering, who would play this army and have an enjoyable experience.
