I am not very familiar with wood elves but did a google images search and it looks like a build your own would be possible using a great eagle and a few hero types.

I assume this is a special character? Was there an official GW model produced at some point or was it one of those characters that was in the book but had no model?

Absolutely superb. Remind me I have to buy the Forge World Carmine dragon for my own Asarnil.

Not sure if the eagle ever got a model. I think the dragon with the sisters got an official. That is the official model. My recommendation and I have seen one of these conversions in the flesh is.... The official models for the sisters themselves (ebay/trading) or if need be these could be made with converted glade guard. One of the Lord of the Rings Eagles (great sculpts)...im thinking the more recent hobbit ones here. They look excellent together. The Hobbit Eagles are big enough to fit both elf minis on them without incident.

Do anyone know what magnets to get if I want to magnetise? Magnetising a foot looks line it needs a very small mini magnet.

Use a 2*2 mm magnets on the sisters and 3*2 mm on the dragons if the models are plastic. If metals, they should be 3*3 mm magnets on the elves and 4*4 mm on the dragons. I have only ordered my magnets from Australia so you guys would hate the suggestion with its exorbitant shipping though.

Another vote for the Hobbit eagles. They are really excellent models. That Forest Dragon model is one of my favourite Dragon models. The Carmine Dragon is also pretty epic though. Tough choice These are my Hobbit Eagles if it is any help. 40mm Bases, one of them has much flatter wings than the other so I guess which one you use will depend on the feet position of the Sisters models and how you can pose them

I have the same older wood elf dragon in the 'white metal' (as they called it then - basically after they stopped using lead). The ankle joint has completely collapsed and it's looking drunk and in a sorry state, consigned to the shelf whilst waiting for me to one day repair it. Just another warning about the model.
