Looking really good! The wild riders in particular. Also like the yellow/brown contrasts on the treeman, very promising!

Just bought my first airbrush and compressor from Iwata. Lets see how long time it will take before they arrive. Going to start with just base coating as it freezing cold to do that outside 8 months of the year up here with spray paints.
Bought an Iwata Eclipse CS and Power Jet Pro compressor

I don't know why but I have an irrational distaste of airbrushing models. I feel it's almost cheating 😃 (Probably jealousy as I don't have one).

Awesome strutsagget! For the first couple years I had mine that's all I did with it was use it to basecoat miniatures. I've bought a new airbrush with a smaller nozzle and am slowly working my way towards doing other things with it now too. I'm hoping that in time I'll be able to paint the majority of a figure with an airbrush. You can get some neat results and some really nice soft edges! I'm saving my lizardmen for that time as I'm hoping to blend multiple colors together on the models to make them truly stand out! I'm using an Iwata smartjet compressor; I started with an Iwata HP-BCS and am now using the one you just bought, the Eclipse CS. It's a great airbrush, easy to clean, easy to change colors, easy to mix colors right in the pot! You'll like it!

Make sure to try and blend that snout! I love that picture I may try and do something similar with my empire horses

Make sure to try and blend that snout! I love that picture I may try and do something similar with my empire horses I will! I usually like doing em with drydrush as it feels like it becomes closer to a real snout, atleast with pink. I find the hard part is the white. And off white hair. And the level of highlight of the muscles.

Really it should be a series of Greys built up to a mere highlighting with white.
