Hey all,
I thought i'd also pose a question.
If you take the Handmaiden of the Everqueen (who comes with: Spear; Bow of Avelorn; Light Armour; Always Strikes First; Martial Prowess; Quicksilver Shot; Valour
of Ages; Arrows of Isha; Flaming Attacks; Quick to Fire ). Then arm her with: The Reaver Bow + Potion of Strength.
1) you need to use a Bow of Avelorn to fire Arrows of Isha and have Flaming Attacks.
2) It is also the case that the rulebook is clear that if a model can use a magic weapon instead of a mundane weapon, it must do so.
So whilst this character has 3 Str5 shots per turn (and potentially 3 Str 8 shots on the turn the Potion is drunk) those shots are not Arrows of Isha and so are not Flaming Attacks.
Cheers

The end conclusion is correct. But to cross some i's and dot some t's: "Flaming Attacks" is a special rule of the Bow of Avelorn, not of the Arrows of Isha.

frozenfood's post reminds me that I forgot to dot a t. The magic>special>mundane weapon rule only applies to CC weapons.
BRB p. 89: "If for some reason a model has more than one missile weapon, he is allowed to choose which one to fire during the Shooting phase."
For the question itself, that does not make a difference. In each Shooting phase, the Handmaiden can either use the Bow of Avelorn (with FA and the Arrows of Isha), or the Reaver Bow. But if she chooses to use the latter, she will not benefit from the Bow of Avelorn special rules FA and Arrows of Isha.
