SorenJ has a point about Pauper knights and halberds. They're not knightly weapons. That would be the poll axe.
They look very similar and many people get them mixed up but a halberd is a spruced up bill hook while a poll axe is a sophisticated great axe that takes great skill to use and is a main choice for dismounted knights. The halberd's for anti-cavalry and anti-armor while the poll axe is anti-infantry.
It's ruling would better fit a great weapon or you can give it it's own flavor with +1 strength, +1 WS, always strikes last. Much bigger point cost of course.
Also, my phone can't download the pdf. What are you guys using to get the download?

Baron,
Thanks for the weapon comments.
The PDF is converted through Microsoft word. Can you see the PDF if using a standard web browser?

Brettonians will be hitting the table today.

Kevin, was it your intention to remove the horde rule and disruption pieces?

Okay, here it goes. Played against the new Brettonians, and they were not much of a challenge. They just don't hit hard enough, especially given their point cost. Impact hits are nice, but they really need a 6 wide horde rule to make it worthwhile. My unit of plague bearers took care of 1 knight unit, and a combination of the Soul grinder and just 12 daemonettes was doing well against another , having only lost 2 wounds while killing 5 knights.
The issue is basically not enough destruction. I don't fear knights coming in with only 12 attacks.
You might ask about the non-knight units, but I worry about them becoming too much of a focus for improvement. If someone wanted a infantry heavy human army they could do Empire.

I was the Brettonian player who face Jay today. It is my opinion that the current configuration is not much different than what they are now. They just don't have the destructive power to make them competitive. Your original Horde rule (6 fig frontage) with disruption worked much better. the addition of Impact hit for front rank is great idea. Maybe adding this with original Horde/disruption idea might be the solution. I will playtest this and advise.
On positive note, I do like the new Pegasus Knights. the profile is well balanced for the points.

I agree. The Pegasus knights were much more effective than they used to be.

They need better on the charge damage potential more than they need disruption, but a combination would be good as well. It worked in the last iteration.
