So today, a few days to the launch of Total War Warhammer Two, and I also got a large lot from miniswap, so what better time to show off my little collection! Over the course of about a year, I have collected this small Skaven force.
The General Overview:
The Loyal Monks of Clan Pestlins
While I am not overly enthusiastic about Clan Pestilins, I do like the look of their units (Especially Plauge censor bearers. Here you see 48 new model Plauge Monks, 15 old model Plauge Monks, six Censor Bearers, and two Plauge Priests.
The Treacherous Eshin Assassins of Under-Nippon
I really do hope that Eshin gets some new models soon beyond the Deathrunner, as I do love the look of the Ninja rats. As you can see there is fifty nine Night Runners, nine Gutter Runners, Three assassins, and the Deathmaster Snitch himself.
Most Noble Servants of the Horned Rat
Yeah, I really have no idea what I am going to do with 5 Grey Seers, but extras are always good.
The Warlords and BSB
Yes-yes, there will be much fight-squable with four Warlords to claim command of my army at any one time, alongside the two BSBs
The Vermintide
The endless Vermintide of over 110 Giant rats is little to scoff at (Though it does have the painter in my crying)
The Overview of Clan Molder and theMeatsheilds Clanrats
The Clanrats are arranged into three blocks of 50, and one block of 33. The giant rats are as previously mentioned, driven forward by 14 Packmasters, 20 Rat Ogres, and my Hellpit.
The Glorious Wise-Smart Technocrats of Clan Skyre
By far my favorite Clan of the Skaven, and a big part of the reason I got into Warhammer at all (Alongside the Vampire Counts). Here you can see my three doomwheels (Two are disassembled for painting), my Warp Lightning Cannon, three Mortars, four Snipers, three Rattling Guns, six Warpfire throwers (Three old, three new), two Globliders, eleven Warlock Engineers, and Ikit Claw himself.
So though my mind trembles at the very idea of painting this all, I think it is a very good start for a Skaven Army. Will update you on progress of painting this horde.Over the years
