So started painting my festus model thinking greenyellow base would make a good start and then green it down with green shades. Felt it became too yellow in the end so wonder if anyone has any tips on turning it more nurgley skin tone before I pickup all the details.

You could simply darken it up with a few dark washes of greens/browns. Maybe even a watered down purple in places

I actually like that skin tone.
A green all over wash or 2 will achieve what you want.

I'm more interested by what you are teasing us with in the background! But I like the colour on festus too.

knoffles couldn’t resist, my wife brought home the package same night. It will be my teaser in the background for some time, if I can manage not starting it as I am too exited!
