My pics. These first three are from Friday’s Triumph and Treachery game. This is a pic of those who stayed for the awards at the end on Sunday. Some had to leave before we got to the awards so this isn’t everyone who made it to the event.

And here is a brief over view of the weekend.
Friday night we had seven for the Triumph and Treachery game. We played all on the same table just modified a few rules a bit to make it work. 750 points per army. Three warriors of chaos, lizardmen, ogres, wood elves and undead legion. We had an eighth Skaven player show up a bit late so we devised a way to tunnel him into the game on turn 2. We had to end the game a bit early because of time constraints but when we ended one of the warriors players had the most coins so was the winner.
Saturday we had ten for the four round escalation tournament. Armies were five warriors of chaos and/or legions of chaos (I’m not sure exactly which were which), lizardmen, undead legions, ogres, dwarves and empire. One of the chaos armies won this event (different player than the Triumph and Treachery).
Sunday was a seven player team Storm of Magic game 3 vs. 4. Undead legions and two warriors/legion vs. ogres, warriors/legion, dwarves and lizards. Each player got 2,000 points plus 500 monsters and magic. This meant it was roughly 7,500 vs 10,000 but we decided to do this purposely. The team of 3 were the top three players from the escalation tournament. This game was back and forth and was a nail bitter till the very end. The team of 4 came from behind and ended up winning at the end of the last turn.
It was a great weekend. Thank you to all who participated, planned, ran the event and all who follow it on here.

The team of 4 came from behind and ended up winning at the end of the last turn. To give some perspective of the closeness, the TEAM OF 3 controlled 5 of 7 Arcane Fulcrums going into the bottom half of Turn 6. And yet we lost. Feel free to correct my mental notes here. One was occupied by the TEAM OF 4. They had a pretty much unmovable Demon Prince. Very end of our Magic phase... --We lost one to a feedback miscast killing an already wounded Bray Shaman Two were vacant. --Gaulrauch, The Dragon moved into the Arcane Fulcrum in the wicked woods. --A Runesmith took the one vacated by that recently deceased Bray Shaman. Magic phase... --Like I said, we lost one to a feedback miscast killing an already wounded Bray Shaman --We lost one to a Slaan magically dueling a Necromancer off of an Arcane Fulcrum (at this point, end of Magic phase, we were now tied 3 to 3) We started combat... --We lost one to a OOOOOPS retroactive Comet of Cassandora that we had forgot to roll on It blew up and killed a lot of stuff, including a medium level Chaos Sorcerer, Shadow Lore I think (If that sorcerer didn't die to The Comet, we rolled for lulz, he likely would have died to a Chimera in combat) We started combat... again... And they killed off the other Necromancer. TEAM OF 3 was left with 1 Arcane Fulcrum. TEAM OF 4 had the: (1) Demon Prince, (2) Slaan, (3) Gaulrauch Plus a Runesmith (who I think scores as 4). We got smoked! But after 6 hours of play, I seriously thought we had it in the bag. The last 20 minutes was a CRUSHING, Crushing defeat. But fun. And hilarious. Cheers!

It was 95% Beastmen, my larger lists ran a Demon Prince of Tzeentch (hence the need to play a Legions list). I also ran a unit of 3 Tzaangor Skyfires in all four lists; with rules courtesy of KevinC via this here forum here.

Yes, per the storm of magic rules runesmiths can control and hold a fulcrum.

For the briefest of moments, we had 5 and y'all had 0. End score, y'all had 4 and we had but 1 left. I still feel dreamcrushed 24 hours later.

Pics from today’s 4v3 Storm of Magic battle. That giant looks huuuuuuge is it the regular gw? That’s Mang the Bonegrinder. He’s an out of print giant from Forgeworld. I think they still sell a similar giant but this particular sculpt was retired maybe 10 years ago.
