Why not use the EEFL army list? If you are making a new 8th edition Bretonnian army go all the way in? because its not 8th.

Most of the club will tend to only play non end of times 8th rules (bar the 50% lord/heroes). bigal cheers for the advice. I originally put the lvl 4 in the Grail knights but thought that might be a rather large eggs in one basket target. Good to know it is probably the way to go. The questing knights were taken mainly because I wanted one of each Knight type to try out. The general consensus has seemed to be don’t take them. Considering that I use silverhelms in units of 6 as chaff clearer’s and have seen empire knights used that way loads I didn’t even think of using kotr that way. Must of been having a tunnel vision moment!

Take what I say with a grain of salt because it's been nearly 8 years since I've played my brets. Some things just don't leave you lol

With UK restrictions mostly lifted (I won’t make any comment on what I think about that) it does mean that we can play more than two to a table at the club so on Friday we’ve lined up a 4 player triumph and treachery game and as we are playing 1000pts I can actually role out my Bret’s for their first outing, as I have that many painted!
So this is the list I’m thinking of bringing.
Thoughts are very much welcomed.
Now I did wonder if two Trebs was overkill at 1000pts. If I drop one, the damsel and a Knight, I could fit in 10 bowmen and 3 peg knights instead
Bret T&T - 1k Bretonnia
Paladin - BSB: Sword of Might; Armour of Agilulf 119
Paladin - General: shield; Dragonhelm; Birth-sword of Carcassonne 121
Damsel of the Lady: Lore of Beasts; Bretonnian Warhorse; Dispel Scroll 105
9 Knights of the Realm: Musician; Standard Bearer (Standard of Discipline) 255
8 Knights of the Realm: Musician; Standard Bearer 216
Field Trebuchet 90
Field Trebuchet 90

At 1000 points, two Trebuchets do indeed seem to much, but I certainly wouldn't drop the Damsel. If you want to squeeze in Pegasus Knights, I would look for additional points elsewhere (e.g. Sword of Might, Birth-Sword).

Second iteration. It’s very light on chaff but it has the advantage of me now having to finish painting my archers by Friday!
Dropping a unit of KotR for Errants frees up additional points
Bret 1k Errants Bretonnia
Paladin - BSB: Armour of Agilulf; Sword of Might; Potion of Foolhardiness 124
Damsel of the Lady: Lore of Beasts; Bretonnian Warhorse; Dispel Scroll 105
Paladin - General: shield; Ogre Blade; Dragonhelm 126
7 Knights of the Realm: Musician; Standard Bearer (Standard of Discipline) 207
8 Knights Errant: Musician; Standard Bearer 181
3 Pegasus Knights 165
Field Trebuchet 90
998 points

How did they perform in the end? A glorious victory for the lady, it could be nothing else

I was bogged down in combats with multiple zombie units and couldn’t kill enough each round to earn any tokens. What tokens I did earn, I merrily spent to screw over other players unsung the special cards, as let’s be honest, that’s far more fun then worrying about winning 😉. I did pull out an amazing number of ward saves on the knights though. It made up for the terrible ability to hit anything!

Nothing like whiffing combat rolls and acing saves eh.
Well main thing is having fun and rolling dice, I’d rather be able play and lose five games than play and win one. But then again I haven’t seen a table for months.
Re-match - what changes do you think you’d make if any?

I’d probably keep the list fairly similar, though I’d consider changing around some of the characters and possibly swooping out the Peg Knights. Possibly having a peg mounted character rather than the knights. One of the guys had two units of hexwraiths running around and although it may not come up in the next game, the flying character is probably more flexible. I might also drop the treb. Ideally I’d take two but I think at 1000pts, it’s taking the piss 😂
