Thanks guys! What are you using for that mud basimg effect? It's Stirland Battlemire drybrushed with Gorthor Brown and then I just dabble some Nurgle's Rot on the spots that aren't raised. It's based on this tutorial: youtu.be/na26t36C7X4

Finished another unit of Nurgle Warriors, which I have named the Order of the Eternal Circle. To tell the truth I cut some corners painting these guys since I just wanted them done at one stage. If anyone have any suggestion on how to improve on them I'm all ears.

Since I've been on a painting spree the last couple of months I say that it's only fair that I start posting some of my WIP projects aswell. To begin with I've started to build an actual nurgly Giant. Tips and suggestions are appreciated since I'm not too skilled with the greenstuff, and don't really have a clearcut vision of how I want the end result to look, besides giving the fella' a suitably empiresque hat. This is where I'm at so for:

Some further progress on the Giant: The jowl was not at all planned. It hadn't even crossed my mind to give him one but after hacking away at the model to minimize the vulture neck with little result I had to find a way to try to save it. As luck would have it I was more than pleased with how it out came out.

Finished the Giant whom I've named Dough-Boy. I've also completed a Spawn that is likely going to end up as a unit-filler for my Marauder unit. He is after all too big for the usual Spawn base but fits perfectly on a 50x50 one. I had forgotten how awful metal is to paint. It just kept chipping off directly. All in all I'm relatively satisfied with the end result allthough I messed up the face of the Giant a bit. I was trying to give him a drunken look, but that didn't really turn out so well.

Love what you've done with that Giant.

Thanks, mate! It was really fun making him. So fun in fact that I'm seriously considering making more mutated giants. That will have to wait though since my next project is making a unit of Nurgle Ogres. I finished some way back but it's about time I complete the entire squad.

These guys were inspired by that amazing spread in the 8th WoC army book which depicts what looks like a procession of Acolytes of Nurgle who are leading a Lord of Nurgle through his nurglite army as they are fighting against a High Elven force.
Found the artwork you reference, makes me love your marauders even more. What bits were used to make them?

The bodies and most weapons are from skaven plague monks and the rest came from bits from my bitbox aswell as some greenstuff. I believe these bits were mostly from the flagellants, plaguebearers and PBK kits, however two of the faces are from the Nurgle Bloodbowl team.

After thinking about it for a long time I finally decided to bite the bullet and make myself the individually unique beastmen horde I've always wanted. It still needs about 10 more models and some greenstuffing to some of the already made ones but I reckon it's worth a post to show my progress.
