Hey guys, This fancy PDF describes one of Khorne's greatest Champions, Korghos Khul, for WFB with full 8th Edition rules (of course!). In addition to commenting on his rules, please let me know if you like this kind of format. If so, going forward I'm going to format playtest stuff like this (though probably not entire army lists until they are closer to finish). Thank you! EDIT: This thread is closed. Please down see the revised rules here: eefl.freeforums.net/thread/118/korghos-khul-goretide-playtest-version

I like the format. What kind of save does he have? How about 4+ 5+ ward (demonic?).

Glad you like it guys.
FYI, I left his equipment out by accident. He does wear Chaos Armour.

There has been some interesting comments on Korghos on both Warseer and the Warhammer Forum! I'm glad he is generating some 8th edition interest.

I like the formatting, especially the call out to our forum at the bottom. Aren't chaos lords LD10 (I don't own a chaos book so don't really know)? Also, I would say that 6 wounds seems high for an infantry model. I know you are taking into account Grizzlemaw's wounds in this figure but I'm just comparing this to a demonic mount who adds 1 wound and a chaos lord starts at 3. So I would think 4 wounds would be more in line.

Between 4-5 wounds sound good, I would change the Axe of Khul to Killing blow and against large targets Multiple Wounds (D3). If you keep it as in playtest version 1. You can killing blow a ridden monster, but a regular monster not.. .
Thus if you can think about the following changes:
* Drop cost to 300. First I thought he was to cheap, but after thinking more on it. He is to expensive. * Axe of Khul: Killing Blow and against Large Targets multiple wounds (D3). * Add the Daemon of Khorne special rule to Grizzlemaw.
I love the format! Very professional!
May I suggest a rule for the Bloodsecrator? Each wizard (friendly and enemy) within 24" of the Bloodsecrator that rolls one or more 1s when casting or dispelling a spell receives one wound with no armour save allowed.
What do you think?

Note: I moved this from the army book forum into here. Obviously, Khul should be here as he is not an army book.

I like that it only grants Heroic Killing Blow in a challenge. Good rule. It makes him a bit less able to just walk up and decapitate an opposing monstaaar.

I like that it only grants Heroic Killing Blow in a challenge. Good rule. It makes him a bit less able to just walk up and decapitate an opposing monstaaar. I don't agree. Thus a ridden monster can be killed easly, but an unridden monster not. That makes no sense. I.e A star Dragon can be killed with one lucky to wound roll, but a weaker Chimera not... . This makes imo more sense and is more immersive and treats all monsters that are a large target equal.
