They mention in these Facebook updates for the x days of nurgle that all the other three Gods got love this year and that Nurgle is finally getting their love, but I don't remember Slaanesh getting any attention at all this year. I would like to see some new models for Slaanesh. I'm contemplating 2000 point forces for all 4 Chaos Gods each led by a Greater Daemon of their respective patron. Each one based around 2 of the get started boxes plus however many more daemonic infantry units I'll need to buy. Then rounding it out with another 2000 points in whatever I need to round out the grand army. Things like named characters and more daemonic troops to bump up the sizes so it's more appropriate to the size of the game. Should be fun. We'll see if I can actually manage it though

It probably seems like a lot of Nurgle love because of all the 40K Nurgle stuff too. I have to admit, all of the Khorne, Nurgle, etc. stuff that has been coming out lately has basically put me in a trance state. I don't notice any of it anymore. Just too much Deamon. And it's not just GW. With companies like Creature Caster, etc. producing models, it seems like every other (perhaps more) big monster model is a Deamon of some sort. I want to see some Rocs or something big for Elves instead of just dragons, give Dwarves big Stone Golems, give Bretonnia a huge Hippogryph or the Empire an enchanted Metal Colossus'! Something other than...another Bloodthirster... I know you guys are excited about these releases and all, and I don't want to steal your thunder, but don't those models above look a little too....cartoony?? It may just be GW's color scheme, but I just can't look at them and take them seriously. The second one looks like something from the Little Shop of Horrors. "Feed me Seymour!"

It's GW color scheme. Nurgle is especially guilty of this but it's possible with some different (better) paint scheme to make these things look much more creepy than they currently do.

Slaanesh got new rules in GHB 2017. Yea but that is just AoS, if it has no bearing on Fantasy it means nothing to me. I want Slaaneshi model support. With the other 3 greater daemons complete, it is only a matter of time.

I've always seen Nurgle models as kind of cartoony, going back to the original Great Unclean One (the smaller metal one). GW enhances this tenfold however with their super bright paint jobs. Mortarion the 40k primarch looked very cartoony for example with the Eavy Metal paint job, but looks quite serious (and imo much better) with grimier paint jobs.
I personally love the droop face of the second model but not so much the massive mouth itself.
So this is the GUO model Hastings of Warseer talked about all that time ago. Glad it's got multiple options and looks very different from the Glottkin.

Enough Nurgle GW... let's see some Slaanesh! I would love to see GW release a unit of Warriors of Slaanesh clad in highly decorative and baroque armour.

I like em too! The more I think about it I would probably do a more brown and dark green touch on my nurgely stuff

As far as GUOs go, I think that I like the first one (in that set of 4) the most. The cream, baby blue and pink color scheme is absolutely horrid, but with the right colors, I think that it could be awesome. True, I like the guts falling out better than the gaping mouth, but I bet they are swappable parts. I like the guts on the FW (4th one) the most though. It looks like the skin was so rotten that it just ripped apart. The others look like they could've been cut by a blade. I do, however, like all the fat rolls on the newer ones.
