The dark elves?
Yeah those look amazing. Makes me sad we don't have a real 9th edition. GW sculpting is top notch.

The new Morathi kit is now up on the Warhammer community website. It is just awesome.

The new Morathi kit is now up on the Warhammer community website. It is just awesome. Ooh, good heads up. Serpent form reminds me of Fulgrim the Primarch. Finally Morothai has a worthy model.... 2 of them as it turns out. The large one would make a great Keeper of Secrets or exalted Keeper.

Yeah, that Morathi model is amazing. I've got one on special order from my LGS. I'm going to put her on a monstrous cavalry base and use it as Morathi in the 8th ed book. She's got wings. She can totally fly. I'll just have to remember the attacks from the pegasus...
Not sure what I'll use the snake lady for... maybe a Slaanesh demon like grandmasterwang mentioned. Can put her in a combined End Times list or something. That might be cool. Would give me a reason to paint up some more Slaanesh models. Man, now I want some of those Tzaangors to make some Beastmen. Sigh... Stupid GW and their good sculpts taking all my money. The real question, though, is what base size to use?

Please...those models are silly and over the top, cartoonish blood drops on Morathi winds and the anime hair style, silly runes all over the exalted version of Morathi and so on...

Odd it seems very much loved to so far but maybe you just have an eye for things none of the rest of us do.

I think all the new models look great. Just wish they were a bit more inline with 8ed rules.

I love the look of both of these new models! Especially the wings on the "Medusa Morathi"! Very dynamic! I don't really know how to approach these models from a rules standpoint. I really like the idea of her being able to reveal her "true form" at any point in the battle, which basically makes her a multiple threat (moving from caster/general role to one of monstrous beast/close combatant). It'd be hard to fight a character like that. I'm sure our very own custom rules creator, KevinC, will be able to produce something great for her to be able to work with 8th!

I have no issues bashing GW for some of their design choices. I guess I'm just not seeing the the usual over design and clutter in these two. The blood dripping probably isn't for everyone but they've been using that since 5th edition.
