So, I just received 5 grail knights. They are old and rare and expensive, but they look fantastic. It’s the first time I get to see them close and they are so detailed, pretty impressive for old metal models of that era. They instantly became one my favorite unit in the game. Really cool. I decided to paint them with the now customary green armor so they will blend in my undead army as bloodknights, and I still can use them in my brets as grail knights. That’s a win-win situation. It is also fluffy as many blood dragon vampires are known to infiltrate bretonnian and empire knightly orders. Anyway, painting has started !

Indeed there are some really good metal minis. Only problem is chipping They will look awesome when finished.

I love the minis too! The only thing I don't really care for is the way they are holding their lances straight out in front of them and straight up. Your arm would get so tired so quickly! And it just looks like they're saying, "Here. Take this. My arm's tired." Lol!
But it's DEFINITELY going to be a cool-looking unit!

Ahah it’s true that they are a little static, but that’s because the lady is giving them super strength ! They can hold their lances like this for days !!!

Painting is going slow these days but I have been tring to use my varghulf as a unit filler for ghouls. It actually fits nicely with the theme !

And here are the bloodknights ! My vampire lord fits in nicely. I actually have one more knight left to paint but the unit works like this for now.

I love it! Are you going to base them the same way as your Vampire Lord? That would look cool on the entire unit!

Hi there. I’m back with a new model converted from the green knight. He will serve me as a new bretonnian/vampire lord. I still need to find him an original shield and the mount will come next.

I really like that sword and the colour transition.

I really like that sword and the colour transition. Thanks Sir, I tried to give it a flaming look, I wasn't really sure of what I was doing though. In the end it looks maybe a little bit too much but I'm ok with the result.
