Hi Guys, Here are a few photos of the characters I painted for my Vampire Counts army. Firstly, I don't consider myself to be a very good painter, but I always try to keep my models clean and functional for gaming purposes. That said, I am quite proud of my Nagash just below. I was always fascinated by this guy since I started reading the VC army book and other White Dwarfs at the age of 12. I finally got the model last year and I painted it. It brought me great satisfaction to finally get this done 15 years after my first encounter with one of the biggest badass in Warhammer history. As much as I like the end times model, it was always paramount for me to keep the old school version of the great necromancer, because it's the first one I discovered back in the days. I know he's not to everybody's taste, he might even look a little bit silly, but in a good kind of way. I used a lot of gold on mine because I wanted him to look like a giant pimped motherf***er, which he definitely is. Then we have an old school metal blood dragon vampire knight, one of my favorite vampire models out there. A metal skeleton with great weapon that I use as a wight king (he's from Warhammer's Quest), and a vintage Empire wizard that I use as a necromancer. As you might have guessed by now, I like vintage models. I will update photos of the rest of the army later on. Even though It was not painted by me but by someone who is much more talented, it looks so awesome that I have to share it with you guys. Seeya soon !

I've gotta agree with you that the Blood Dragon vampire model is an absolute classic. I've got one waiting to be painted too. I like the paint job you've done on it - clean, and with the right balance of making the armour functional but with some ornateness. Are you keeping the bases black, or are you planing on painting those?

Good to know I'm not the only one who likes that good old Blood Dragon For the photos resolution, I think you can click on it to make it bigger. I still haven't figured how to display the big size photos directly. I did not post anything on forums for years and I am very rusty. For the bases, I always keep them black. First reason is that I am too lazy to base my models, second is that I also like the clean look of black. I will update soon with the rest of the army.

I use the tapatalk app on my mobile/pad. It got included photo storing and linking. So you get hires images.
Only problem is some freezing screen and crash bugs and hard to find this forum. Other then that it's great.
When I click on an image I get a big size but very low res version.
Or people first upload the images with an image sharing site and add those images when posting.

I tend to save my photos to imgur and then copy the B.B. link and add it to a forum post. Works a treat. Love the old Nagash model, I have the same one that has been sitting with just a black base coat at my parents since I got it in 4th ed. It is a solid lump of metal and I always felt he had a Sauron vibe to him.

Alright, another little update. I tried to do some glowing effects (testing for my incoming horde of grave guards). I am quite pleased with the result:
