I don't have a Skaven army (yet, though I intend to) but wanted to post a few pictures of what I've been working on recently, which is my Skaven Blood Bowl Team - Intermiragliano. I'm over halfway through, and these are what I've got finished this weekend (I know the Blitzer's base is incomplete): I don't usually edge highlight, as it's too time consuming when you have so many unpainted models to work through, but given a blood bowl team is so small, I made an exception for them. I've got 1 Blitzer, 4 more Linerats, and a Rat Ogre to go, though I plan to get Glart Smashrip and the FW "booster" set too. Also, some more rats - the skaven Deathrunners from Silver Tower. The one on the right is supposed to look like the "shadow", though whether he is, you don't find out until too late... These were the first Skaven models I'd painted, and I regret not painting them as having fur all over (GW seems to like modelling bald rats recently for some reason). Attachments:

Yeah, I'm not a fan of GW's "bald rat" approach either. It's like they think skaven should be mostly skin with some fur patches instead of mostly fur with some patches of skin.
Love the deathrunner models; I've been looking into Silver Tower as a new source of models for Mordheim and my 8th edition armies.

That looks absolutely incredible, Sedge! (Remind me to make me your target this year!). 😋
Speaking of Ryryak, does anyone know where he's been? I haven't seen him posting since Christmas!

That is a cool model, I have no idea where you sourced most of the parts. And it should have gotten lots of well-deserved praise in the miniature exchange!

Thanks It was quite hard to part with, as I spent a lot of time putting it together, and I've got the start of a Skaven army of my own which could do with such a warlord. The main construction is from the Hobbit Goblin Town scenery kit (both planks and some poles), which is extremely useful for these kinds of things - I've used bits of it to make a bridge, parts of my castle, and on my Snotling Pumpwagon too. The curtains and cushions are from the Mortis Engine/Coven Throne kit, with the skeletal figure changed to be more skaven-ish. The front metal part is from a Doomwheel, and the rest of the bits and bobs are random spares meant to represent trophies the Warlord has gathered (the Warlord is an old Games Day exclusive I got off ebay). The intention was for him to feel like he was travelling in opulence, perhaps emulating a Tilean Countess in her palanquin, or a Lahmian Vampiress on Coven Throne... but in reality he's in a filthy rickety wooden box, surrounded by gnawed bones, rusted weapons, and rotten cushions covered in rat droppings.

She's a beauty sedge. I can see why you wouldn't want to part with her!

Damn that’s stunning sedge (well stunning as a model, stunning and skaven don’t go together 😉).

Looks like you had the same basic idea I did for a Warlitter. Your execution is WAY better than mine, though. I'm a bit jealous to be honest.
Nice job!

Wow.
Skaven clanrats are marvelous. Great blue cloth choice. Very visually impressive unit.
