I'm so glad someone recognized him! The helmet was added. I took the helmet off the Miner's spare bits where it is resting atop the shovel in the ground and clipped off the horn. I punched a tiny hole in it's center and hallowed it out with a hobby knife. The shield was added as well, and I cut one end from his axe and notched it with my hobby knife. So glad you like him! You did an excellent job with the helmet. It really helps reinforce who the miniature represents.

Thanks! Bruenor Battlehammer is a CLASSIC Dwarf character from the Legend of Drizzt books. He doesn't show up until around the 4th book (I think), but I'd in the remaining 9 books (13 total), and then a few more spin-off stories as well. He wears a horned helmet with one broken horn, and a "many-notched-axe" that are very signature to his character. I HIGHLY recommend those books! I ultimately want to make each one of the characters as a mini Mordheim band too. Something like the fellowship of the ring Absolutely, except Drizzt and his crew would mop the floor with the fellowship of the ring In a universe/universe battle Crone Hellebron and Shadowblade would be great foes for Drizzt. Fun geeky anecdote - in the D & D computer game Baulders Gate, Drizzt is included as an NPC who will fight back if attacked. The last boss of the game was a demigod. I downloaded a mod/hack which let you summon in any ally/npc/enemy of the game. I brought in Drizzt and the last boss of the game and had them fight each other...and Drizzt won The creators of the game were clearly big fans and brought Drizzt in at an appropriate power level. Drizzt is a WS 9/10 character if there ever was one. Looking forward to seeing your crew.

Lol! I never knew that Drizzt was in Baulder's Gate! That's too cool!
And yeah, he would be as close to a perfect WS combatant if there ever was one! With ASF magical cuffs and dual magical weapons none-the-less! Shadowblade is probably a good substitute for Entreri too!

Bud they look excellent. I’ve been struggling to paint this month (the citadel forest is killing me) but this is making me want to dig these out.

Oh amazing! What an output! Have the quadruplets been nice this month so you have stamina for extra paint time?

I really like the little patches of blue as they really stand out and help to break up the sea of orange and flesh. Are you use the citadel paint that cracks when it dries, for the bases? (I forget the name).

KevinC how does it work with spam reporting. Is it up to you to remove or is it removed automatically if enough people report it?
