Hi all, getting back into painting fantasy stuff after a long hiatus and as I've recently found this forum I thought I would document my progress. I'm a mainly skaven and wood elf player, but as I've been collecting for 30ish years I have smatterings of Empire, Chaos, Dark Elves and Lizardmen too. Recently started using contrast paints and I've found my painting speed has increased dramatically (from 1 kph to about 1.75 kph). Anyway, here's what I have finished for your perusal; Warlock engineers. Same rats just posed differently. Screaming Bell Ikit Claw So hopefully this thread will help me maintain focus on my projects, we'll see.

Got a bit more done. For a bit of context, I started dabbling with greenstuff many years ago and started scratchbuilding giant rats (spending a fair bit of time on cheap as chips models is not really clever use of hobby time). These models were started way back and I have only now gotten the motivation to finish them; Fangs and an Orc headed rat. Mole rat and Scythe-on-the-head rat. Half rat half horse Two shifty looking critters. Unit filler two bodied rat. These were all inspired by some of the images within the skaven book prior to the last one. My Wood Elf BSB.

Looking great! As a matter of interest, do you have a photo-editing programme (e.g. Preview) that would allow you to crop the images a bit. That way we'd get better views of all your lovely detail.

I love that classic Screaming Bell, brings back so many memories! It never bothered me that the characters on the bell would realistically get smacked in the face by it if it actually swung haha

Thanks. I'm curious where everyone hosts their images. Mine are on blogger and sometimes I forget to crop them properly. Yes I love the Bell, of course no one ever mentions that both the Grey seer and bellringer would also be completely deaf! I have also finished up some wood elves; I had a game a few weeks ago where a unit of Waywatchers charged into the rear of a block of Beastmen suffering from the withering and were therefore toughness 1! They did great work and saved the wild riders who had also been flank charged by said beastmen. it was a strange game.
