As most of your probably know right now, I'm writing an 8th Edition Beastman army book for everyone here on EEFL to enjoy, largely based on combining the best of the 6th and 7th books with some suitable points reductions and some additional surprises, but I currently am unsure on some choices for the roster, so I have come to you, the EEFL Beastlord network, for assistance.
One thing I've noticed is a flaw of the 7th (and to a lesser extent, the 6th) books is that there is no or very little way to create a Minotaur-themed army, unless you spend the absolute minimum of Core on throwaway Ungors so that the bulls can take up the rest of the slots. I want to remedy this in my upcoming army book, but am torn between two different approaches:
Thus I have set up a poll for you all to answer, and please explain your choice below once you have voted.
What do you think my fellow Beastlords, knoffles markdienekes chaosreigns pinge KevinC mrbaldrick mottdon beastyboy mithras grandmasterwang boda317 chronicallychaotic66 kaltheras jamesacon thegoat ? I summon you all!

I want to remedy this in my upcoming army book, but am torn between two different approaches:
- The first is to do something that was possible in the 6th Edition book and give armies with a Doombull or Gorebull general the ability to field one or more units of Minotaurs as Core - this approach brings back some goodness from the older book, would be a lot of fun to implement and would go a long way to filling out your Core slot even if just one unit is eligible for this honour, but I am concerned that an all-Minotaur army may be too powerful. True, Ogres are strong but have their weaknesses, and Minotaurs also have most of these flaws, but on the other hand Throgg Troll armies are largely reviled as a product of GW's broken rules writing for Warriors of Chaos (though even I, more of a thematic player than a competitive one, can see there are some counters to such a build - no weapon customisability, Stupidity is still there even if it is less of an issue with Throgg's Leadership, and such an army would be hugely vulnerable against anybody capable of using the Lore of Fire or bringing other Flaming Attacks to the party), and the last thing I want is to be the cause of a new wave of upsets resulting from overpowered rules.
- The second is to introduce a new Minotaur-themed unit that isn't as outright powerful as the Minotaurs themselves, and I found the perfect snippet of lore discussing Bovigors, mini Gor-sized Minotaurs that are adopted into Minotaur tribes and follow them into battle, that gives me the chance to make that idea a reality. Profile-wise I have used this as a way of bringing back the 2-wound Gors of old to create a heavier Core infantry unit for the Beastmen, with a slightly different profile (Strength 4 and Toughness 3 rather than the other way around, with Bloodgreed instead of Primal Fury and Impact Hits (1)). This approach would arguably be a way to avoid repeating the Throgg incident and would give the option of some fun conversions potentially, but I'm always on the lookout for unit bloat and I'm wondering if a new Core unit is unnecessary, given Beastmen already have a fair few and I've also added quite a few new Special and Rare units to the book too?
