The closest thing I've ever come to a model that I like for a jabberslythe is the forgeworld toad dragon.
I really wish I had picked one up when I had the chance.

Yes, it's the only beastlord model I have that realistically could be given a shield to the model. I like how it turned out. Yeah it makes a huge difference and the axe is really too small to look like a Great Weapon so it suits. Army is coming along very nicely!

The Toad Dragon is still available from Forgeworld, and is available at cheaper prices on ebay & elsewhere.
It's a funny one the Jabber, I kind of like the model in some ways but something is not quite right. I think it's the horns

I thought that it would just be a toad dragon and searched under monsters, but didn't check the Chaos section of the site. Yay I can still get it!

Toad Dragon is a super cool model. Tamurkhan himself not so much.

We're working on 8th rules for them in the expansion development forum. They're a new unit created for AoS, you know how they've been creating giant infantry models? Well this is a giant cavalry unit. They're essentially Archaon's lieutenants. I've been wanting a unit since I saw them.
I don't think they'll vanguard, there's no precedent for heavy cavalry to do that.

Yes these guys have helped me out in the past when I needed chariot bases for my chaos dwarves.
Best part is they're cheap!

Good analysis! I'm a little surprised at just how big they are. They look like they'd get Juggs a run for their money. If you had four, you could call them the four horsemen of the apocalypse!

I'll get a jugg out for comparison tonight. If GW's website is to be believed then they're actually bigger than juggs.
yes, I'm thinking 4 is an ideal unit size for these guys.
I may steal the idea of calling them the horsemen of the apocalypse. I like that. It seems appropriate.
