Lol, you could theme each one to their name. Pestilence could have lots of scarabs from TK kits, etc. That would be so cool!

it's not too late to do something like that...
I'll look through my bits and see what I can do!

Sweet. I really like the TK scarabs. I found a bunch off eBay a while back and plan to make some Tomb Swarms out of them.

Alas, I don't have any TK's so I wouldn't be able to do that. But I do have lots of nurgly things so that's possible. Even if it's just an empire soldier crawling through the mud with lots of lesions/sores on him I could do something like that...

I need to figure out how to go about doing this. I'm in need of ideas...
We have:
Pestilence/conquest Death War Famine
Steed colors I can easily do Pestilence/conquest = white Death = pale/ash/green/yellow War = red Famine = black
I need something else: I was thinking war could be the empire dude running away pestilence I can do some dead bodies/crawling bodies all plague-ridden famine: ? I think insects would be good here possibly a cow body death: ? skeleton in cage hanging from tree would be cool here maybe?
I have a skeletal signpost; that could work for something I have the skeleton in a cage from a giant kit; I could rig up some kind of gallows/tree I have the cow from the giant kit, I could always have a dead cow on/in the ground.
Any other ideas or ways to make what I have work? I'm sure I have more, this is from memory.
EDIT: These bases are going to get very busy I need to also try and keep it to a minimum

Looks like Mantic of all places makes an interesting swarm. I could see that on a Varanguard base.
I like the idea of a giant tree with a skeleton hanging from it as death.
Now I just need to track down some dead bodies/plague ridden bodies for pestilence and I think I'm set.

Oo Nice looking bases. I checked the site out and will keep them in mind. I have bought about 10 orders from Proxie models. All via Amazon. I give him 5 out of 5 stars. And it's like $4.50 for a pack of 8 50mm x 100mm bases. Value Town.

LOL. When I think of the four horsemen I think of Wolverine, Ahab, Deathbird, and Caliban.

yes they are.
I think my nod to the four horsemen will just be the colors of the steeds. I don't want to make the bases too busy, I already have a lot going on (and some more planned to go on when it's finished); plus I really don't want to spend any more money (they're $100 retail!) on them.

Status update: First steed is finished, although I still have some grass and other details to put on the base. I'm going to take a break inbetween these guys; there's so much work involved I don't want to burn out trying to do all three at once. Here's my next project I've started prepping:
