I dislike the movie series but if the miniatures reflect at least 90% of the 3D render quality, it would still be a phenomenal set. Lannister Halberdiers look perfect to escort my Paymaster as bodyguards (I know this would sound supremely insulting to GoT fans  ) |

The Lannister Halberdiers are my fav of the models. Indeed, they could be used in many armies.
How can you dislike the show? The books are better, but regardless, ASOIAF is my fav story ever told. And the battles on the show are the coolest fantasy battles ever. Watch the episode the Battle of the Bastards.

I am currently listening to the audio books as I paint. Most enjoyable.
I think the series has done a pretty good job of the books (so far)

I am currently listening to the audio books as I paint. Most enjoyable. I think the series has done a pretty good job of the books (so far) -------The show is also great of course. Season 1-4 follow books 1-3 very closely. Season 5 captures some elements of book 4 and 5, but changes things a lot and starts to go beyond the books. Season 6 and 7 are far beyond the books (and some characters are in completely different places). |

Now he is eternally confused with the greatest and most resplendent warrior in the Warhammer Universe (whose own name is blatantly inspired by the capital city Tirion of the Noldor/High Elves in Valinor in Simarillion). May be its a kind of trolling respect the later author need to pay to his omni-influential fantasy forerunner  |

Tyrion might be the best character in the series though, so can't say he brings shame to the name but hard to say as there are so many great portraits. |
