I'm spending more!!! They just unlocked Lannister crossbowmen and a battle ready Tyrion! I have like 80 skeletons to prime, let alone paint... for my campaign army nonetheless. AND THEN I have a full army of 7 units of Beastmen that are base-coated and should get finished... AND THEN I have a whole army of Elves that need to be stripped, assembled, and then painted. PLUS I have like 80 Space Marines that got started and need to get some work done. So why am I hovering over this page debating a $150 purchase? **Just click buy** ***Just do it***

Mord is easily the best character in Game of Thrones. Mord for ruler of the Seven Kingdoms! Great breakdown of the TV seasons before as well Kevin C. Loot train battle was epic but I can't help but feel Season 7 felt very rushed.

Because George's hand is getting tired? Either that or someone is afraid that he'll die from a heart attack before he finishes if they drag it out. Lol!

Ya can't beat seasons 4 through 6. 7 was weak, rushed, and occasionally just didn't make sense. And yet, every Sunday at 8:45 PM all else in my life literally stopped so I could watch.
Even a bad season is terrifically dope.

I recently equated season 7 of GoT on HBO to the Hobbit movies. Y'know where I'm coming from?
Not as good, per say, as the LotR movies, and lots of non-canonical doings afoot... dickery... A decent amount of stuff you could complain about... But it's better than fixing the toilet.
Acceptable and addictive.

Lol! --------I actually think the writing is not as good because the show has moved beyond the books and the story is not the same as how Martin will tell it.

I've read a lot of fantasy series and I wouldn't necessarily put this in my top 5 (the books not the to show). Once it is finished I may revise that. One of the issues for me is the length of time between him writing them. I find it hard to keep interest when it's been at least 5 years since the last one was released. I just hope he doesn't die before finishing the series (something that happened before with a series I was reading - Robert Jordan, wheel of time).

It was an absolute pleasure to read the books. Great storytelling and very well written as far as I can tell. Looking forward much to the next book. When it comes I'll probably re-read the series.
The show is fantastic too, IMO, however I have only watched the first three or so seasons. Will watch it all when we have more time to binge watch at home.

I don't really love the books. I would agree not in my top five and maybe top ten.

Hm then I must disagree with you here. The writings and portrait is way beyond authors like robert Jordan and Feist, Kerr, Ellis who I all think is more of teenage authors. Yes magic is not as important. I put Martin in the level of Tolkien where Tolkien wins on more or less being the founder of fantasy.
