That Lizardmen terrain piece is pretty awesome. Easily the most exciting of all the reveals.

I’m still BAFFLED as to how GW managed to make their Elves look so bad 😭

I’m still BAFFLED as to how GW managed to make their Elves look so bad 😭 I agree 100%. The classic Warhammer Elves cannot be beat. Especially the Jes Goodwin sculpts. The AoS things are absolutely horrible. Totally an unforced error on GW's part.

Some OK stuff here but nothing I would consider a home run.
The Morothai rival I am interested in lore wise but the model doesn't grab me.
Scenery bit is nice in that paint job. I could just as easily see it as a Tomb Kings bit of rubble.
Orcs and Goblins are back! At first I thought it was a new plastic Rock Lobber kit coming out. The Warboss is cool though and nice to see some Forgeworld stuff back.

Of the AoS bits, the Witch Hunter is the only really cool model. The Thief is pretty good, but without an obvious WFB use. The Lizardmen scenic bit is decent, but the paint job is putting me off it.
Like GMW, I feel the elf thing's lore is interesting, but it's badly executed. The model just has too much hair.

Events miniature for 2024 - there's a Kroot for 40k, and something a bit stranger for AoS: www.warhammer-community.com/2024/01/29/warhammer-events-miniatures-announced-for-2024/"The counterpart from the Age of Sigmar is a little better armoured, but still retains an avian demeanour. This is the Steel Rook, an alternate Arch-Knight for the Freeguild Command Corps. They continue the animal theme of the Arch-Knights, adding a third, bird option to the bear or fish knights you can build from the main Corps kit. They’re even accompanied by an actual rook, just in case the feathered fashion statements were too subtle." This guy could make a characterful Tzeentch Chaos Lord.

I was thinkinf Tzeentch when I saw the model, great call. Eavy metal doesn't always nail their paintjobs....but when they do you get Ushoran!

The Cities of Sigmar stuff begs to be converted into the new Old World Bretonnian Exiles.

In amongst the Old World stuff on pre-order next week (which I've posted in TOW section) there's also some classic army book art prints coming: www.warhammer-community.com/2024/02/25/sunday-preview-old-world-reinforcements-and-the-army-of-the-solar-auxilia/Nearly two dozen stone-cold classic pieces of Warhammer art from an earlier era are also going on sale next Saturday. These are iconic covers from Codexes and Warhammer Armies books, covering many of your favourite factions in the vivid colour palette that was the style at the time.
These prints are available in the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The American versions come framed.
