It works, but your fire is backward. Usually, it's best to start with a bright yellow, then go darker, further out toward the tips. Flames are usually the brightest closer to the source. Does that make sense? This is true but sometimes I do the opposite when painting It just seems to look way better.

I agree on this but for example high elves loremaster fireball hand I think I will do its source yellow/warmer and edges darker. I think it depends but a lot of fire all loose strings/hair/straws have higher degree. Look at these for example:

You're on a roll! They all look great; that large unit in particular looks properly menacing.

what the heck! you paint faster than I can look at the pictures. Looks great!
I had trouble fitting the guy with the mask on the Iron Daemon. He ended up in a similar position like yours but I think his pokey stick is supposed to attach to that little cylinder.

Tried a lot of times before gluing and my super glue at the summer house was thicker an a little bit slower drying time. So had some seconds to fix it right.

Had some great help from my wife and my parents with the children last week/couple of days. And it's been too hot to do anything else then to take it easy. Great weather for painting . It's also great when you start everything at the same time and go back and forth between units. And all of a sudden they all complete more or less at the same time.

I love the turquoise armour and orange hair combo. That big unit does look like a total bitch to rank up. Did you use the numbering on the bases in the end?

I am also very happy with the color choices. Not so far and every base is not fitting perfectly. I have different levels for some bases and it helps. Thankfully the GW bases are less than perfect 20mm so you get some wiggle room on the trays. My biggest problem is my heroes... Especially the BSB. Need to fix the base. Thinking of buying a large resin pillar base. There seems to be a lot of custom dwarf bases to buy.
