Mine was a bit of rat theme this month. I started finally painting my skaven during this lockdown. I had a few bits and Bob's from when I began to collect them back in 6th ed before I had a break from WFB.
So this month was 19 clanrats and some giant rats from Ebay. Then another 40 clanrats and the start collecting Plague Monks box from goblin gaming to expand my plague monks to 40 along with a plague furnace and a plague catapult.
Seems a sensible time to start my homage to the Horned Rat...

I’ve been finding that if you search periodically on amazon UK for the 8th edition army books you can find them for a decent price. In that way I’ve picked up the high elves and ogre kingdoms books, as it’s an aim of mine to have a set of 8th edition army books. Though you have to make sure beforehand that its not an older edition copy, but the two I’ve got haven’t been. |

along the same lines, there are other used book sites that may also work. I finally found the Tomb Kings book on one just last week for $12 after shipping. Too bad they don't seem to carry spell cards. Quite a few sets that I am after but I am not paying $20+ each on ebay. Weird spread in that market with DoC around $10 while VC is 3-5x more.

Can confirm, I bought the Tomb Kings one off Oxfam last year for a mere £10. If you keep checking these sites every so often, a good deal will come up eventually. |

Got a painted Slaughterbrute off eBay. Couldn't resist... I've wanted one for a while. I'll try to touch it up a bit but glad to finally have one. Lore wise I see this guy as being bound to Arbaal the Undefeated.  |
