If I wanted to play a campaign, what is the best resource to invest into? I am aware of:
Blood in the Badlands The Generals Compendium (a bit out of date) Mighty Empires
Is there anything else? Perhaps a non-official resource? Is there an online replacement to the Mighty Empires tiles that you all could suggest?

Would be good to have if there are any aspiring coders Tamurkhan has a Chaos Vs others campaign in it The old 5th edition campaign packs can be easily adapted to 8th. These were Idol of Gork (Orcs Vs Empire), Grudge of Drong (Dwarfs vs High Elves), Tears of Isha (High elves vs Dark elves), Circle of blood (vampires vs brets) and Perilous Quest (brets vs wood elves). I posted some of these in the scenerios section of the forum but you can find the packs online quite easily

I like the Generals Compendium or Blood in the Badlands. Both have lots of hobby potential! If your looking for no set up really, then the 8th Ed mighty empires is the way to go.

There is also a little campaign with HE/Skaven in the Monstrous Arcanum. I never knew that. I should probably read that book a bit more! Cheers.

Thanks I will try to check those out. Our little group has been talking about doing one and would like to be ready when thing start clearing up. There are also the later campaign supplements (6/7th ed?), Lustria, Nemesis Crown and Dark Shadows over Albion. Like the 4/5th ed campaigns they are easy to pick up. One of the US WD mags had a generals compendium style badlands campaign but in Bretonnia (the no. Escapes me). I should have copies of most of the above. PM me and I’ll check my folders and drop box them.

White Dwarf 211 also has an article called Return to Thorakinson’s Island. It was a how to run a summer campaign by Rick Priestly. Circa 5th ed.

Bought 9 more Temple Guard. Do I need them? Not really. Do I want them? Yes. I need to be able to field a larger TG unit. Do you understand? I NEED to be able to field it.

I also have two Carnosaurs and three Stegadons for this exact reason... What is I needed an army list with two Carnosaurs?!? Obviously it is a necessity to have them. And the three Stegadons? I mean, they are a must-have. Everyone knows that.
